Sydney’s sending heat to the rooftop. 🇦🇺🔥
For three nights only, the crew from 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 & 𝐁𝐚𝐫 in Sydney is taking over the Bar.Yard kitchen, bringing the bold, spice-heavy soul of Sri Lanka to the 40th floor.
At the helm is Chef Augustus “Augi” De Hoedt, whose 35+ years in kitchens across Sri Lanka, Europe and the Middle East shape Kurumba’s punchy, modern take on Sri Lankan street food. Think smoky brisket pan rolls, coconut XO scallops, fiery Negambo prawn curry and their cult lobster kottu.
