This May, we welcome summer with the micro seasons of Beginning of Summer (立夏) and Lesser Ripening (小満) on our seasonal menu.

The 𝗦𝗔𝗞𝗨𝗥𝗔 𝗘𝗕𝗜 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗬 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗥 is sweet, sour, and savoury in one glass — shaken with Hibiki Harmony Whisky, umami-rich sakura ebi, miso honey, lemon, and a touch of tequila. A fun-funky sour that brings you straight to the ocean shores in summer.

Or try the 𝗚𝗬𝗢𝗞𝗨𝗥𝗢 𝗙𝗜𝗭𝗭, a gentle fizzy drink made with Roku Gin, gyokuro tea, shochu, calvados, and sherry. Sip alongside the matcha-chocolate cookie for a sweet finish.

Join us on Monday, 5 May, 7pm to 11pm, in welcoming Yasuhiro Kawakubo from Tokyo’s Punch Room for a one-night-only guest shift as part of Jigger & Pony Group’s 14th annviersary celebrations.

After a decade of honing his craft in cocktail capitals like Singapore, Paris, and Sydney, Yasuhiro Kawakubo returned home and took on roles at some of the best hotel bars in Japan, such as the Bvlgari Ginza Bar. Now Director of Bars at The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza, he oversees four hotel bars, including Punch Room Tokyo, which earned the No. 36 spot at Asia’s 50 Best Bars in its opening year in 2025.

A globally celebrated bar concept, Punch Room at The Tokyo EDITION reimagines the art of punch through Japanese culture and ingredients. Inspired by 19th-century London private clubs, the bar’s menu is curated around five distinct categories, each reflecting one of the “five flavour pillars” of punch, harmonised with a unique facet of Japanese tradition.

For one night only, don’t miss cocktails like their Bamboo Katana Martini — featuring Haku Vodka, sherry, vermouth, muscat, and bamboo tea.

Pop City welcomes Yujiro Kiyosaki and Zemin Chai from Tokyo’s Bar Libre for a one-night-only guest shift on Tuesday, 28 April from 7pm to 11pm.

A two-time Diageo World Class Japan finalist, owner-bartender Yujiro Kiyosaki has built a two decade career defined by curiosity and craft. With serious bartending pedigree and a deeply personal approach to every drink he makes, Yujiro was involved in the launch of Tokyo Dome Hotel’s Bar 2000 and even lectured at a hospitality school. He eventually opened Bar Libre in Ikebukuro in 2011 — which he later expanded to Da Nang, Vietnam.

Originally from Shanghai. Zemin moved to Tokyo during his formative years, and lived across the Philippines and Thailand after. Returning to Japan in 2024 to join Bar Libre, where he now serves as Assistant Manager. After being exposed to a diversity of cultures, he focuses on building connections with guests from all walks of life, creating warm and meaningful experiences through every interaction.

A stone’s throw from Ikebukuro Station, Bar Libre is nestled in the basement of the Soumaya Building. Lined with dark wood and an impressive back bar of over 300 single malt whiskies, the bar’s seasonally driven menu is a showcase of technique and creativity. Complemented by a cigar menu and a diverse food offering, Bar Libre is a destination for an entire evening, not just a drink. In 2025, Bar Libre earned its place at No. 49 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars.

In March, we embrace spring with the micro seasons of Earth Awakens (啓蟄) and Spring Equinox (春分) on our seasonal menu.

𝗦𝗔𝗞𝗨𝗥𝗔 𝗚𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗥 captures the first bloom, blending Roku Sakura Gin with elderflower, lemon, and egg white. An easy-going sour style cocktail those who enjoy delicate floral notes.

A gently fizzy serve, 𝗨𝗠𝗘 & 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗬 is crafted with Hibiki Harmony Whisky, umeboshi, shiso vermouth, and plum wine — enjoy its fruity, savoury, and bright flavour profile.

𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗝𝗨𝗞𝗨 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬

We take the riot of a Bloody Mary and distil it into something precise and deeply savoury. Haku Vodka meets clarified tomato, tonkatsu sauce and dashi — layered with a quiet hum of wasabi and celery.

Defiant in spirit, but refined in form, the Harajuku Mary arrives in a ceramic cup, finished with a pickled ginger–stuffed olive.
