RASA presents Rrose + Trommel x Blackout Agency 🪲 18 July, Saturday

Some creatures thrive in low light. They move by feeling vibrations, letting sound guide them through the dark.

In this same vein, our next guest Rrose has worked from the shadows for more than 25 years. First as Sutekh in 90s San Francisco, then appearing in quiet on Sandwell District in 2011, and building the Eaux label ever since. Their music is hypnotic, sensual and slow burning, the same sound that has held floors at Berghain, Unsound, Labyrinth and Movement.

Welcoming Rrose to the Floor, we’ve got Kin Leonn (‌‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‌ kin leonn) opening with a live ambient set of piano and electronics, followed by yetpet's wompy weird tangles (𝓰𝓮𝓷), and a special live butoh performance by Liz Sergeant (liz sgt tan).

Over in the Hall, Trommel (trommel) lands in Singapore on their Asia 2026 tour. One of the world’s leading platforms for underground house and techno, Trommel is known for stripped back micro house, minimal tech and deep club cuts, built through global collaborations with local crews from PlayHaus in Egypt to Sunday Sessions in LA and Half Baked in Barcelona. For Singapore they team up with Blackout Agency.

Leading the night is Oshana (Oshana). Rooted in the Midwest underground, she channels the spirit of late 90s and early 00s dance floors into today, with releases on fabric and her own label Psionic. From Robert Johnson and Concrete to ADE and Off-Sonar, her sets are smooth and full of feeling.

With her are three familiar faces. Zig Zach (⚡️Zig Zach ⚡️), founder of Blackout (Blackout Agency) and the force behind bringing John Talabot, Midland and Gerd Janson to our city. Sivanesh (sivanesh. from singapore.) of Sivilian Affairs (Sivilian Affairs), fifteen years deep and a true party starter. And B**gomann (Nick B**g) of Super Enjoy (super enjoy) and Offtrack (Offtrack), transporting the sound from the record shop to the klurb.

A fresh rendition of the All Spice Whisky Sour. 🥃

We’ve taken the familiar structure of a sour and given it a warmer, more aromatic profile. We start with Maker’s Mark bourbon and infuse it with citrus peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, before balancing the spice with fresh lemon and a silky foam.

It’s a drink that feels cozy and grounded, carrying a subtle heat that lingers just long enough.

Available at RASA Hall from Tuesdays till Saturday.

OUTER BOUNCE x RASA presents INNER RHYTHM 001

Our antithetical series, Inner Rhythm, extends the sonic DNA that guides Outer Bounce exclusively to clubs through collaboration.

For this inaugural edition, we anchor the night with a global force on the Floor at RASA Space. Andy Garvey (Andy Garvey) joins us from Eora and Sydney, carrying the legacy of her label Pure Space. For nearly a decade, she has amplified local talent while forging international connections from London to Berlin. Her sound blends deep techno textures with entrancing patterns, guiding listeners into endless sonic journeys.

Sharing the Floor is Manila's own Duality (duality ≈ sean bautista) Sean Bautista brings a unique take that showcases the duplexity of his musical references. With a background in music and design, he decodes the convergence of different media forms. His sets are deep, percussive, and bass forward. He conveys an aversion to rigidity by mixing the old with the new, as well as analogue with digital. Whether transporting the room into mental dimensions or warming the floor with atmospheric textures, he delivers layers of beautiful sonic waves.

Over in the Hall, LONER (Lean) powers through with a special Live Set. This Manila based artist makes music shaped by internet culture and alternative pop songwriting. What began as an experimental side project evolved into a space for exploring new possibilities within Filipino pop. Blending club music rhythms with Taglish lyricism, his performance creates an experience not one to miss.

With them, local hearts RTJ (ⓡ Ｔ JØ𝓱𝐍), Failtrylagi (ᠻꪖrizi), and Dodi (DODI 🎧🎛️) take up space in the best way. RTJ explores classic and emerging landscapes of Southeast Asia with a melomaniac ear. Failtry lagi moves across footwork and juke-adjacent rhythms, and Dodi channels darker grooves while staying irresistibly energetic.

DARKER THAN WAX (Darker Than Wax) returns to RASA for round two of their 15th anniversary, and this time, they're bringing Seoul with them.

On Friday, 17th July, we welcome Arga Club (ARGA (For the Dancing Audiophiles)) and Patina Sound System (Patina Sound System | Hi-Fi Listening) residents Cityboy from Seoul (Jun Young 🎸) and Gio (김지오 (Gio)) to our floor. The duo have been turning heads across the region with their soulful, deep-rooted sound, house and disco that hits the heart first, then the feet.

Holding down the floor before them is the one and only Dean Chew (🎶 Dean Chew 🎶), co-founder of the label himself. A selector who needs no introduction: his genre-fluid journeys from cosmic jazz to leftfield rhythms are the stuff of legend. With over 15 years behind the decks and recent turns at Boiler Room, We Out Here, HÖR, and Dimensions, there's always an element of surprise when Dean plays.

Over in the hall, we hand the reins to two of our favourite deep divers. Koonz (Daniel Lau) brings a fanatical crate-digger's touch with deep, rhythmic grooves and dreamy, soulful soundscapes from a selector who's warmed floors for Dana Ruh, Sansibar, and Demi Riquísimo. Alongside him, Xinyi (XINYI) glides between the booth and the dancefloor with pure soul who has been a long-time house dancer who moves with the music as much as she plays it!

RASA presents DJ Stingray 313 🗝️ Saturday, 11 July.

We’re beyond excited to welcome a true legend to the floor: Detroit Stingray. Donning his signature balaclava, Stingray has spent decades delivering heavy, relentless, cyborg-like electro and techno sets that continue to captivate dancefloors worldwide. A Drexciyan-affiliated selector and longtime torchbearer of raw, futuristic sound, he’s played landmark rooms and festivals including Tresor Berlin, Berghain, Movement Detroit, Sonar Barcelona, Glastonbury, Dekmantel, and Dimensions. His uncompromising vision and deep connection to the electro lineage make every set feel like a transmission from the not-too-distant future.

Setting the tone before him in the main room are two pillars of Singapore’s scene:

Hammy opens the night with her hypnotic, story-driven blends of dub, breaks, electro, and psychedelic warmth, sets that flow like sunset stories, both intimate and wild.

Then, stepping up is Helios XL (Nez Senja), a true veteran who has been shaping Singapore’s nightlife since 2010. From rocking club floors to curating sonic journeys for brands and festivals across Asia and beyond, Nez’s taste is timeless and boundary-less. Under his Helios XL alias, he’s honed a focused, global sound that recently lit up Sunda Festival and Keep Hush Live SG, while his monthly SunDisk show on London’s Subtle Radio beams his selections worldwide. As co-founder of Revision Music, he’s long been a champion of high-quality alternative sounds, from Jungle and Hip Hop to Techno, Afrobeat, and Soul.

Over in the hall, we’re bringing back the super fun Day Ones crew takeover! Born from the infectious energy of their legendary house parties, Day Ones is all about turning that intimate vibe into a full-blown hall explosion. They’re serving up melodic, bass-heavy Global Sounds designed to keep you moving all night.

Leading the charge are Syedsavage69 & 54B, flanked by star stunners LI.A & Ape. Think martial-artist precision on the decks meets genre-fluid trips through Ghetto Tech, Latin Techno, R&B, UK Bass, and Baile Funk.
