November 13 marks our last night at Othilia as you know it.

After that, we’ll move downstairs to Nobiskällaren for our annual little Christmas hideaway during the festive season. And when Christmas is over, the entire Opera House closes its doors for a multi-year restoration.

So, there’s still time. Come take your favourite seat, look out over the Royal Palace, order a cocktail and settle into that Othilia feeling we’ve come to love.

We’re here Wednesday to Saturday from 5 PM and we're looking forward to welcoming you.

Behind the Bar – with Joar Wahlgren.

For Joar Wahlgren, bartending starts with people. After twelve years behind the bar, he still finds the greatest reward in reading a guest, making someone smile and knowing that he has made their evening a little better.

As Bar Manager at Othilia, he has found a place that perhaps isn’t quite what people expect. Beautiful, yes – but also calm, relaxed and made for long conversations at the bar.

We sat down with Joar to talk about his love for hospitality, the instinct that comes with experience, what makes Othilia special – and what it means to enter one final autumn together with the team and our guests.

Thursday calls for cocktails. 🍸

The bar is ready, the doors open at 5 PM and we’ve saved a few tables for spontaneous plans. Tomorrow, Othilia is closed for Operakällaren’s annual crayfish party. On Saturday, we’re back behind the bar as usual.

There’s a lovely buzz in Stockholm tonight. For many, the first full working week after summer is done – which feels like a very good reason for a cocktail.

Othilia opens at 5 PM and we’ve saved a few tables for those who feel like dropping by. Come see us. We’re here until 1 AM.
