Our original JAKKs page seems to be getting a high amount of hits lately, I assume it’s because Stuart stopped posting on his JAKKs Local Bar page.

Unfortunately we cannot provide updates or information pertaining to the bar apart from the fact that we still own the building and of course the name JAKKs.

📌 TAP introduces direct flights between Madeira and Faro

🇵🇹 | From June 2, 2025, to September 11, 2025, TAP Air Portugal will operate two weekly flights connecting Madeira/Funchal with Faro in the Algarve, Portugal.

The flights will be operated with 106-seat Embraer E190 aircraft. A total of 30 flights are scheduled, offering 3,180 seats in each direction.

With this new route, TAP connects two of Portugal's key tourism regions, enhancing mobility for Portuguese travelers while also catering to combined tourist demand.

As Stuart has now created his own facebook and instagram pages we thought it was appropriate to just post a short update especially as many of our original (I was going to say old 🙈) often ask.

Stuart now owns the business but we, as in myself and Jo, still retain ownership of the name and brand JAKKs, and the physical building.
We still look back in amazement at what and how we achieved what we did from 2018, and it’s great to meet and chat, on the other side of the bar, with so many of our customers that supported us, and we have made some incredible friends over the five or so years.

Equally and unfortunately we have also lost some incredible friends and family, and it’s important never to forget them.

For regular facebook updates on the bar and what Stuart is planning please follow JAKKs Local Bar.

We will occasionally post our ventures as we used to do, and of course any future projects that may come to fruition.

Many of you will realise we are taking the opportunity of travelling more now we have the time, and of course watching our grandchildren grow up 🥰 after all you do only live once and you should endeavour to make the most of it.
