Oh heeeeeyyyyy..!! So after 18 looooooooooong months out the game, we back with a bang for Victor Sias & Joana Morais beautiful sun dappled wedding last weekend

Was such a pleasure to set up a mini version of Capitao for them in the grounds of Casa do Pinheiro Manso; signature cocktails, golden hawk, gorillas and piñata of course included…and especially since these two lovelies were some of the first ever people thru our door back in early 2017, and generally the last ones out…😬

The whole thing reminded us how much we’ve missed the bar, and judging by the genuinely touching welcome, just how much people seemed to have missed Captain Piglet as well…so altho he’s already poured icy icy beer everywhere from Beato Beach to Fogo Island, from warehouse parties and forest raves, to pop-up’s in Bário Alto, we’ve decided that is officially ready to gather his hooves and hit the road; coming to a rooftop, forest or carpark near you soon…!! dm for deets and prices yo !!!

If you’re looking to escape for a few days, you could do worse than heading down to our sister project Herdade da Malhada Velha on the beautiful Costa Vicentina...

pool, bbqs, outdoor woodfired pizza oven, lake, plus we’re only 15 mins from the beach...

Well, apparently we’re castaway in Cape Verde for a month or two, (things could be worse)...

So, after 3 years, we’re very sad to say, our baby Capitão will be closing for good in January

Marvila has become a victim of its own hype really, with property speculation, and plain old fashioned greed, pushing prices way too high, and unfortunately we can no longer afford the rent increases

There’s a lot we could say about the situation and our landlord, but that won’t get us anywhere. So, we’ll just say thank you to everyone that came to see us at, (what felt like at least), one of the frontiers of Lisbon nightlife. To hang out and get drunk, listen to records, buy records, play records, talk endless nonsense about records, dance and shuffle about, or maybe just use the backstage VIP...

We hope you’ve all enjoyed our little creation, coz we’ve loved welcoming you into our home and being a part of your lives, we’re better for having known you all

So let’s blow out those candles one last time, but not before we’ve blown the roof off...
