Na zaproszenie Białego Kota, zespoły CHOLO z Barcelony oraz wrocławska Faustina CALAVERA, zaprezentują Wam nowe oblicza cumbii: folk, chicha (czyt. cicza) i nowoczesnej psychodeli.

On Friday 01.03 we will give you a unique live concert: FIESTA DE CUMBIA!
This time we are taking you into the exciting world of Cumbia.
Bialy kot together with bands CHOLO (from Barcelona, Spain) and Faustina Calavera (your local Cumbia band) will discover for you new faces of cumbia music as folk chicha and modern psychodelic Cumbia.
Who will play live?
CHOLO CHICHA:
or simply Cholo, is a reference to the cumbia sound in Barcelona, which exposes in its musical proposal a journey through the fusion and evolution of cumbia with different genres such as rap, salsa, chicha, and psychedelia.
FAUSTINA CALAVERA:
AKA Faustina, a band from Wroclaw formed by musicians from Chile and Poland creating a unique fusion called Cumbia Chilaca.
BUT WHAT IS THIS CUMBIA MUSIC?
Cumbia is a Latin folk music emerging at the end of the 17th century. It traverses through ages to this day, transforming into a spectacular crossover that mixes African rhythms, native rhythms, psychedelic rock, electro music, and ska.
All this mix provides the perfect vibe for a great time dancing and having fun.
