MARTINI MONDAY

This week we have a local drop: native gin from just over the hill in the Wairarapa. It’s damn good pretty much every way you like your ‘tini but we highly recommend it dry with a lemon twist. 18 dollars in a martini this evening while the bottle lasts. See you at the bar x

It’s another Martini Monday!
Today we have something a little bit different from - Blood Orange Gin. We reckon it works great with a dash of Blanc vermouth which really brings out the fruit. It also makes a spectacular G&T if that’s more your thing.

We’ve had many toasties come and go over the years, but this might just be our magnum opus. A delicious piping hot menagerie of slow cooked beef & vegetables in a red wine/stout sauce wrapped in white bread with a healthy dash of cheddar. Our Irish Stew Toastie is $12 this evening until 9pm- come and grab one while they’re hot! We’re open from 4 today- see you all at the bar

This week for Martini Monday we have Navy strength wasabi gin. Coming in at a hefty 58% it makes for a banging dirty wet martini. $18 this evening x

What a dram we have for you today. Ledaig Rioja cask finish from on the Isle of Mull. It’s smoky and spicy and a wee bit sweet- which all comes out wonderfully neat or with just a dash of water. 46.3%ABV. Come get one from 4.30pm 🥃👍

MARTINI MONDAY YAY!

Martini Monday with Little Biddy gin from It’s got Horopito, Taratara, Toatoa & Rimu- makes for a wonderfully soft, citrusy & slightly spicy Martini. $18 this evening or $10 a nip

Here’s another of our Ditch cocktails, it’s got tequila, ginger, lime & bitters & we call it a Tequila Ditch. Looks simple but packs a punch, normally it’s $15 but tonight you can get it for $12. Wow what a deal. A Ditch Deal if you will. All of our toasties are $12 tonight too. That’s pretty rad. You can even get a Ditch AND a toastie for $20. That’s pretty great.

The weather might be terrible but our grilled cheeses definitely are not. In fact they’re the complete opposite, they’re very good. They also come with soup which is perfect for this bonkers weather we are having and tonight is Toastie Tuesday which means they’re two for one! What a deal. A cheesy delicious deal. Maximum cheese pull guaranteed. Come get two from 4.30pm x

It’s holiday time!
We’ll be open as per usual this evening but closed Christmas Day & Boxing Day. After that all of our usual hours apply but in the New Year we’ll be closed on the 1st and 2nd. Happy holidays to you all, thanks to all of our wonderful guests for a great year x
