Are you passionate about cocktails, great drinks and creating an awesome bar experience?

We’re looking for a creative, energetic and motivated cocktail/bar person to join the team at The Black Dog for the upcoming summer season.

This isn’t just a “make the drinks and clean the bar” job — we want someone who is excited to bring their own ideas to the table.

🍹 What you’ll get to do:
• Create and showcase your own cocktails and drink ideas
• Help develop seasonal and signature cocktail menus
• Have the freedom to experiment and get creative
• Deliver great drinks and an excellent customer experience
• Keep the bar running smoothly and efficiently
• Work alongside the team to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere
• Help with stock, preparation, presentation and day-to-day bar operations

✨ What we’re looking for:
• Someone who genuinely loves cocktails and hospitality
• Creative, enthusiastic and confident behind the bar
• Great attention to detail and presentation
• Able to work independently while being a strong team player
• Someone who enjoys interacting with customers and creating memorable experiences
• Previous cocktail/bar experience is preferred
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in is essential!

🌞 The opportunity:

This is a full-time position over summer, with the opportunity for the right person to develop the role into a permanent full-time position within the business.

Just a heads up that we won't be serving dinner tonight, as our chefs are catering the Winter Ball.

The bar will still be open as usual, with bar snacks available throughout the evening.

We'll be back to our full dinner menu tomorrow!
