Hey Friends,

We have been thinking of you from our bubble and have been eager to share some very exciting news that we have been cooking up!

We are so grateful for the messages and thoughts from you, our wonderful friends, family and guests from near and far - Your cries for truffle fries and bubbles have been heard and have meant so much to us - so while we are not open yet, instead we are working on our brand new pop up...

We are thrilled to introduce to you -

The fresh new face of Cod & Lobster, embracing your favourites and merging with a new menu and a whole new look we are sure you will love! While some things are changing, the people and our values stay the same - we love serving you! And serving the very best of what's on offer from land and sea in our region- and sometimes a little beyond.

We have loads to share with you and will keep teasing you over the next few weeks while we work in our bubble to get our doors open and see your faces again!

Last orders for now friends.
We are taking the opportunity to take a breath, finish the bubbles and pack down the restaurant with our team. (In a safe socially distanced capacity).

We are all in this together ❤ beyond the fear and uncertainty is the silver lining of what is to be in the future.

From the bottom of our hearts we thank you, our incredible friends, families, guests, suppliers and unbelievably awesome staff. Your unwavering support and loyalty over the years and particularly over the past few days, has filled us up with confidence and love and we can not wait to continue to be your place when we re-open.

Obviously due to the beast covid-19 is and the incredibly brilliant steps our country is taking, delivery is not going to be an option at this point, the health and wellbeing of our community is paramount - truffle fries can wait x

Gin of the Week.

Clemengold (Cape Dry) - Cape Town, South Africa.

Key Botanicals: clemengold mandarin, orange, cinnamon, almond, coriander, juniper.
Tonic: Fentimans Premium Indian tonic
Garnish: orange slice, cinnamon.

Fun facts: 8 botanicals are used in this handcrafted gin from Cape Town. The most unusual and interesting is the clemengold, a sweet and aromatic mandarin grown throughout Mpumalanga, Limpipo, and the Southern and Western Capes of South Africa. Hope on Hopkins Distilling produce the gin, in the heart of Cape Town, using their two beloved stills, Mildred and Maude!

It's official, there's a bar takeover happening this Saturday night!

Roots in Residence is the first of a National tour where Head Distiller – Ben Leggett will be getting back in touch with his cocktail roots (14 years UK) by popping up in residence at select cocktail bars throughout the Country. To kick it off, Ben will be taking up a spot in the cocktail bar at Cod & Lobster Brasserie.

Come on in and try Ben's signature cocktails and find out why we absolutely love his unique and wonderful gin!
