Introducing our very special guest for tonight’s event: Sjaan

Sjaan started her DJ journey on her OE in London in 1999. She fell in love with the Kiwi/Aussie dance scene and bought her first pair of turntables and taught herself how to mix vinyl. She promoted her own night in London and played for clubs such as Fevah, Fahrenhite, Solid Sunday, Heat, Tasty and Girls Torque. Fast forward 15 years and Covid lockdowns, she started to develop a love of the deeper house and tech house sounds. She became an integral part of the Lockdown Legends which was a group created in the first lockdown in March 2020. Since then Sjaan has played several events in Auckland at various venues including Fitzroy Lounge Bar and AUM Festival. She is a resident DJ for Lucid Underground, a trio of female DJ talent in Auckland. Sjaan loves the deep house and tech vibes and has now started producing her own tracks. Sjaan loves trawling through back catalogues to find those epic tracks which are a hit on the dancefloor.

Introducing our very special guest for Saturday’s event: Miss Sinton
Miss Sinton’s passion for music ranges from deep sexy atmospheric house music to floor filling euphoric Techno - curating the perfect environment whether it be a warehouse rave or a blissed out summer jam.
Such examples include the sunrise set at AUM festival NZ and Guests n Residents at Ink bar for artists such as Greg Churchhill, Aaron Pony and Bevan Keys.
Her passion and inspiration has only continued to keep growing, year after year.
Miss Sinton channels energy from her life into her mixing, finding inspiration and solace in music and the house and techno scene, providing luscious hand raising beats for every occasion.

Buenos Aires born, New Zealand living since 2005- Gabriella Gonzalez loves House & Techno with a slight twist of Latin & Tribal Afro styles.

Gabriella is known for delivering energetic underground sounds across NZ and beyond, as well as teaming up with others to bring quality music events. Gabriella is a regular at Auckland’s dedicated well known electronic music venues, and enjoys sharing her passion for music at popular music festivals and events while also being part of underground music gigs.

A proud creator of regular Music events Funky People- packed with House Classics- and Beat Addicts with the best House & Techno at Fitzroy Lounge and also Music Lab with visual art work and more. Introducing the final DJ on our debut roster: Brent Carter .happybc

With a signature sound and a passion for deep, driving funked-up underground house and tech, Brent graduated from the dance floor to behind the decks during the pure vinyl days of the early 2000’s. Since then he’s been a regular feature on the Auckland scene playing alongside the countries finest selectors at gigs such as the infamous Electric Orange, Essence, Black Wax, Pitch n Faders, Lucid Underground and Shimmy, across the city at Ink, Fu, Red Bar, Fhloston Paradise, and Fitzroy Lounge. In 2019 Brent opened for legendary German DJ/producer Ian Pooley on an epic night at Ink Bar. Renowned for delivering connected cross-genre sets, interspersed with sophisticated vocal samples, that bring a rolling vibe to the dance floor.

Introducing the selectors for our debut event this Saturday Nite :

Andy Vann:
In a near 40- year career, Andy has done more than most to put New Zealand on the global map of house music. As well as bringing many of the scene’s elite acts to Aotearoa, he’s introduced some of our brightest talent to the world through a series of successful record labels.
More on that soon, but first let’s go back, way back, to the early 1980s when Andy, captivated by the electronic sounds emanating from northern Europe combined with the Funk, Disco & Soul from the USA, played on bFM as a schoolboy.
After graduating to Auckland’s clubs he became one of the city’s first DJs to beat-mix. His CV reads like a roll call of classic venues 80`s, 90`s & 2000`s- from The Brat to Box, Calibre, Centro, Berlin, Cleos, Club 21, DeBretts and Zanzibar. As founder of long-running house brand Fine Tuned, Andy’s been responsible for some of Auckland's top underground events. He's toured and supported a slew of stars, including Frankie Knuckles, Josh Wink, Mark Farina, Fred Everything, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Terry Francis, Gene Farris, Honey Dijon, Mr C, Hipp-E, Sonny Fedora, D.I.Y, Inland Knights and more. Over the last decade, through record labels HuHu and Grass Green, he’s promoted fresh Kiwi house and disco producers - with resulting acclaim on international dance charts.
His record company credentials were established long before then: in the late 80s he founded The Voodoo Rythme syndicate and hip hop/R&B/house label Voodoo Vinyl, releasing cuts by chart stars such as Sisters Underground, Semi MCs and Pacifican Descendants. He was also part of the team that released the now legendary Proud album.
As comfortable playing daytime disco as rolling late-night house, Andy currently runs the hugely popular Black Vinyl and Electric Orange events. Coming soon: Electric Orange music with the release of some mighty fine tunes.
