Cosmic Rhythms The Hague Cosmic Rhythms is a new party in The Hague, The Netherlands, focusing on underground dance music. We want to build a community and the party is on invitation.

Cosmic Rhythms is a new dance party in The Hague which will take place every few months. It is inspired by the tradition of The Loft (NYC), Lucky Cloud Sound system (London) and other parties where the focus is on underground dance music, within the confines of a welcoming atmosphere. Tickets will be available in advance. The aim is build a convivial atmosphere akin to entering someone's living ro

om. The type of music you can expect will include deep underground house, deep disco, afro-beat, Italo-disco, jazz funk and Balearic grooves. This does not include mainstream music. We ask that you respect the work of the music selectors who have prepared the musical program of the evening. This is an early evening party which will start around 17:00 and go on until...

Food will be available on the spot, and we ask our guests to keep the dance floor clean. The cost of entry will cover rental and food costs. To maintain the atmosphere, we would ask for no phones on the dance floor. If strictly necessary, we would ask that phones be used by the entrance and away from the dance floor. Dear dancers,

A heartfelt thank you for joining us at the Koorenhuis on Friday 20 June 2025 to share the joy of this musical gathering we call Cosmic Rhythms.

Music is a healing source and a cause for celebration. You added your positive energy to our musical programming. Together, we created a memorable evening. We are grateful for your open-mindedness to our aural explorations.
We hope you join us again for our next gathering after the summer holidays, dates to still be confirmed.

Still floating on a cloud of positive energy following our Friday night Cosmic Rhythms session. A heartfelt thanks to all the dancers who showed up and gave it their all during 5 musical hours where both Mr Six and DJ76 served a mix of adult contemporary dance music. Your energy and open-mindedness contributed to a memorable night. It was fun, it was good, it needs to be done again! A big thanks to for the support and allowing us to use their beautiful space. Next session: after the summer break, date to be confirmed.

Here’s the recording of the first Cosmic Rhythms musical gathering held last Saturday 5+ hours of music. It will not do justice to the energy and atmosphere of the event, but hope it brings good memories to those who were there, and an idea of the auditory experienced we shared for those who couldn’t make it. Words, photos or recordings cannot capture atmosphere and vibe. Last night, for the first musical gathering of Cosmic Rhythms, we created a memorable moment. Dancers, music selector and helpers. All took part in this celebration. It always takes a bit of courage to take that first step. I’m thankful to friends who encouraged me to embark on this adventure. Am I glad I did. I’m also thankful, grateful and touched for the open mindedness of the guests who danced like no one was watching, and who accepted to be exposed to many pieces they hadn’t heard before. And as we closed the night with Nina Simone’s “Sinnerman”, we promised to get together again very soon. Stayed tuned for the next one! I decided not to post pictures to respect the privacy of those who attended. What will we gain from pictures of people dancing… we all know what that looks like. I recorded the sound and will soon post it on Mixcloud… watch this space!
