This Thursday, will be opening our Dislocated night at ! The 27 year old DJ from Rotterdam has made his name within the scene as he Co-Founded the organisation and has played sets all over the country at events as well as various online radio stations. For Armand it is important to create a unique world of it's own within his music, the atmosphere of the music is as important as the sound itself. We are keen that he'll join us this Thursday night to warm up the early visitors and bring a Dislocated atmosphere. Remember to come early tomorrow, so you can join the amazing vibe he'll create with his melodic set prepared for this night!

.music is a Rotterdam based techno duo, they're on closing duty for this Thursday. The city provides them with a constant flow of Techno music tapping from the city's eccentric poetic character. They grew up with early melancholic synthwave, psychedelic rock and a big love for sci-fi movies. This resulted in the dark emotive techno productions they play for their crowds today.

Insisting that music releases all self-awareness and habitually tuning into one fequency is what makes club music healing. Fueled by their love for otherworldly sounds and exploration into the unknown, inner meaning and outer space is the DNA of Pildrin's vision. Their mission is to provide a constant journey of transformational growth, grabbing radicalism by the roots and exploring the future of night culture. For our upcoming event at we are excited to have our first international act! is an Egyptian DJ and producer from Alexandria. Developing bond with Orchestral, as well as Arabic sounds enabled him to start composing for films. After his first soundtrack he realised he wanted to experiment and integrate this world of music within his electronic music.

Sokkary already has a fair share of exciting releases behind his name on labels such as Grum's Deepstate, Sequence, Blackhole/Force Of Habit, MusicTap, and Elliptical Sun gathering support from Beatport, Apple Music Editorial, Spinnin’ Records and many top DJ names.

Similar to his discography, Sokkary is at a very exciting stage of his career in terms of live performance, playing shows in The Netherlands, Qatar and most notably, a mini tour in December 2021 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he played in the Middle East's biggest music festival, MDLBEAST Soundstorm and the biggest music conference, MDLBEAST XP. appearances, sharing the decks with the likes of Tale Of Us, Amelie Lens, Adriatique, Nina Kraviz, Charlotte De Witte and Mind Against. This time he will showcase his signature sound at Dislocated, so prepare for a breathtaking journey!

Our next artist comes all the way from Denmark. ._ started producing his own music when he was 18 years old. He has experimented a lot with different genres and has created his own sound over the years. In 2016 and 2017 Pentia mainly produced Tech House records, after he’s been quiet for a while, he appeared in 2020 with melodic house & techno.
His latest record, 'Down for You', was released 2 weeks ago. This is a remix that takes you on a musical journey with droning sounds that let you dream away into the deepest depths. Pentia releases his music with the label 'Techno Tehran Records'. This label started in 2017 and is based in the Middle East (Dubai/Tehran). Next up is a familiar name from Dutch soil, took place behind the decks for our next podcast and has blown us away with his mix! Over the past years Hollt has made his mark on the melodic House and Techno scene with sold-out shows in De Marktkantine, Thuishaven and Mystic Garden Festival. Hollt has been steadily building his name; merging melodic elements with a defiling energy, creating adventurous stories with his own unique blend of genres. On stage, Hollt creates a world between techno and house, either DJ’ing or playing live sets with his already already infamous "Holltesizer".

He has many impressive and compelling releases on labels as and , and he launched his own label . With 150K+ streams on the first release, he is seeing support from many great names within the scene. As a cm laude graduate student from the Haarlem conservatory, he has earned accolades from various music media outlets, as well as his peers, by building his own custom hardware controller.

We are very grateful for Hollt bringing in this banging mix for our podcast series. His latest release, a remix for Dedicated by Ben Haydie and Elvis Sabani was released this Saturday. The next artist for our podcast series is a special one! Malandra jr. is a classical composer and electronic music producer that has played in various classical orchestra's but also played as dj all over Europe.

From a young age on he played the piano and after entering the Conservatory in Italy, he also picked up the clarinet in which he graduated with honors and won several awards. Malandra Jr. studied at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and right after started producing electronic music offering a unique, sophisticated releases on label such as Diynamic , R&S ,Still vor Talent , Atlant and Tenax recordings. Classical music makes him able to shape electronic music with an incredible result of melody, harmony, rhythm, with shades bucolic, tradition and innovation. He will take you on a special journey with classical influenced within his melodic house and techno tracks.

As you know by now, tomorrow we are celebrating Bevrijdingsdag with all of you at De Doelen Studio ! De Doelen is such an interesting and elegant place, and it's interior is definitely an impressive work of art itself.

The building has modern elegance and sleek designs. The marble counter, chandeliers, dark wooden stairs and stone pillars all contribute to the high class concert and theatre ambiance the building's interior creates. The national monument has been developing it's interior style with a stylist that aims to bring back the history of the building within the details in it's interior. Tomorrow 19:00 it's showtime at De Doelen Studio, come early, and enjoy the Dislocated journey!

De Doelen Studio is the smallest venue in the concert hall De Doelen. It’s a vibrant spot for live music, debate, food, and art. De Doelen Studio is definitely in huge contrast to the exterior of the building, with it's vintage sixties style it offers an interesting switchup compared to the others rooms within the concert hall. It contains a beautiful neatly worked wooden ceiling, neon signs and more small colorful details that take you back to the sixties. 😍🎉

It is one of their newest rooms where they want to experiment, surprise and programme new refreshing concepts. An ideal location for Dislocated to tell you a story about this impressive location, its architecture and interior and take you on a melodic journey.

The first artist for our event at De Doelen studio is no stranger, Rotterdam based Demoré will be taking place behind the decks the 5th of May! His mix for our podcasts series had great response, and we are very excited for the melodic journey he will take you on next week.

He has already played at events as Dockyard and Toffler, surely he has a bright future ahead of him with his groovy and melodic sets. On the 5th of May he will take you on an adventure where you can completely lose yourself in the location and his fine selection of melodic House and Techno music.

The location for next weeks event is De Doelen Studio, one of the newest rooms of de Doelen ! De Doelen is a modern piece of architecture in the city centre with a lot of history. The current location opened its doors on the 18th of May 1966, but De Doelen is a name that dates back to 1680, back then local musicians started to play orchestras in the old location of De Doelen. Today De Doelen is one of the most appreciated and sought after locations for concerts, orchestras and theatres in the Netherlands.

E.H., H.M. Kraaijvanger and R.H. Fledderus are the architects responsible for De Doelen. They are known for their modern, futuristic and sustainable designs. The building is an important symbol of the post-war buildup, it has an interesting symmetric stone layer wrapped all around the building. The national monument has been given a facelift, whereby the rhythm and detailing of the historic windows on the Schouwburg side have been restored with care, attention and precision on the basis of the old architectural drawings. Everything to achieve a contemporary atmosphere that suits 'a night out'.

HEADS UP!

Dislocated is back with a musical journey in our beloved city of Rotterdam. For our upcoming event, we decided to create a programme in a modern location with a rich history. Afterhours X Dislocated will strike down the 5th of May in de Doelen. De Doelen is known for housing international orchestras, classical concerts and theatre. Its exterior and interior offer an interesting contrast between modern architecture and vintage 60s styling. De Doelen Studio is one of their newest rooms where they want to experiment, surprise and programme new refreshing concepts. An ideal location for Dislocated to tell you a story about this impressive location, its architecture and interior and take you on a melodic journey.

From 19:00 till 23:00 Rotterdam based Tech Baker and Demoré will provide you with the finest melodic House and Techno. Tech Baker will take you on a journey with a unique melodic live set, so come early because you don't want to miss out on his set. Demoré has a groovy melodic DJ set prepared for all of you, don't forget to check their music to get yourself in the mood for our Dislocated event at De Doelen Studio!
