La Fenix

La Fenix La Fenix is a monthly milonga in Amsterdam for lovers of good traditional tango music, taking place on the 4th Friday of the month (except May & June 2016)

We play only Golden Age music or later (no “forgotten orchestras”. We believe they are forgotten for a reason). We don’t impose any rules on seating, inviting, dancing style or number of tandas you can dance with the same person. But please watch your floorcraft and navigation when the floor is busy and keep in mind that mirada and cabeceo are still the preferred way to invite for many. The organizers and resident DJs are La Gata Negra - Hilalita and Matteo Manferdini
