Twenty-two-year-old Adolph Wilhelm Krasnapolsky arrives in Amsterdam. With a tailoring diploma in his pocket, the young clothier secures a job at ‘Winkel van Sinkel’ following in the footsteps of his sewing father and grandfather. After a hard day’s work, Krasnapolsky often finds relaxation in the coffee houses around Dam Square. In 1866, the aspiring entrepreneur takes over an old and run-down ca

fe. That shabby coffee house will become the foundation of the legacy we know nowadays. At cocktail bar The Tailor, we pay tribute to the old craft of our founder with tailor-made and bespoke cocktails. The art of tailoring is stitched inseparably together with our menu and the decor. Tailor Bar is proud to introduce its brand new Friday night concept, an elegant all-female DJ line-up where music, ambiance and sophisticated nightlife come together in the heart of Amsterdam, creating the perfect setting to unwind and experience the city in a more refined way.

DJ brings a smooth, contemporary energy to the evening, guiding guests effortlessly from early cocktail hours into the later hours of the night with warmth, rhythm and an instinctive feel for the room.

DJ .dj offers a calmer, more understated presence, her sets subtle and thoughtfully curated, creating an intimate atmosphere where conversation, cocktails and music blend together in perfect harmony.
