19:00 – Ruffling Feathers
21:00 – Supermoon
23:00 – End
After years of playing in bands, multi-instrumentalist Simon Joan longed for new creative challenges and excitement. He retreated to his apartment in Amsterdam to write his own music. In this introspective setting, he began creating songs that tell his most personal stories. The result is a captivating collection of tracks inspired by The Beatles, Alex Turner, and The Velvet Underground, combined with the modern sounds of artists like Tame Impala and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. He has already performed at Pinkpop and the Ziggo Dome… And now he’s coming to our Liberation Festival!
K**e Zwagerman, mostly known for his work with Future Husband, Feng Suave, and Kai Needie, is set to unveil a live translation of unreleased demos that have been shelved for over six years. His music features groovy hooks and jumpy textures. This blend of alternative rock, soul, and R&B will surely make your hips sway back and forth.
Ruffling Feathers isn’t your average wedding cover band—it’s a well-aimed kick against complacency, straight out of Amersfoort with seasoned faces you’ve likely seen sweating on local stages. These brash musicians grew up steeped in rock & roll and never climbed out.
Expect a gritty mix of rock classics and alternative bangers from the ’90s, ’00s, and ’10s—songs you once shouted along to, now delivered as raw, high-energy tributes packed with nostalgia and just the right touch of chaos.
Supermoon
Supermoon creates infectious ’70s-inspired funk, drawing influences from bands like Sly and the Family Stone, Funkadelic, and The Meters. The result is an otherworldly blend of deep grooves, powerful harmonies, and a flurry of sharp accents that hit you at high speed.
See you tomorrow! 🎉
