I went to an occasion dressed beautifully in my native attire, but I went without a headgear. At first, I thought I could manage, but after seeing other women looking stunning in their beautifully tied gele, I said, “Abeg, this one must be corrected!” 😂
I started looking for someone to tie it and luckily found a lady who was standing by at the occasion specifically to tie women’s head ties. I paid her, sat down, and allowed her to work her magic. Before long, my look changed from “I tried” to “Madam, who is your designer?” 😂
What impressed me most was her entrepreneurial spirit. She identified a need among women attending occasions and turned her skill into a business opportunity. She didn’t need a big shop or office—just her skill, materials and customers who were ready to pay.
While others came to celebrate, she came to “secure the bag.” 😂 It reminded me that entrepreneurship is simply about identifying a need, providing a service and making income from it.💲💸

I like to do what makes me happy even when I know people will talk. But on this day, I chose to listen to some of my colleagues who asked me to go wear my wig or tie my hair, that I looked so young.🙄 See me see Wahala oh!🤗 since when did looking younger become an offense?
Me in the first picture wasn't comfortable at all and couldn't even wait for the occasion to be over to pull it off.

The Adum Umuada👩 are renowned for their doggedness, resilience, and exceptional intelligence. They are known for their determination and unwavering pursuit of success. It is often difficult to deceive them because of their wisdom, alertness, and strong sense of discernment.

At times, their firmness and strong-willed nature may be misunderstood as disrespect or poor upbringing;( all na igbo mentality) however, this is simply a reflection of their confidence, self-awareness, and clarity of purpose. They are individuals who understand what they want in life and pursue it with courage and determination. Mana dont try them, maka if I had known.😃

Their chi🧚‍♀️ is ever watchful, guiding and protecting them with the utmost care, much like one handles a precious egg.🥚

This picture reminds me when I newly birthed my baby, as a very observant mother, I was the one that discovered that my baby had jaundice and opted to see a doctor. when the doctor checked him, he was admitted under emergency and was taken to ICU department. The scary part of it was, the doctor took his blood sample and asked us to go run a test, that if the bilirubin is high, they would perform a blood transfusion on him through his narvel. I was filled with fear and great suspense.
The test came out and it wasn't that intense but needed to be placed under blue light. I didn't mention that I have booked my flight to go back to the east for my Omugwo. we stayed at the hospital for three days and the fourth day was my scheduled day.
Let's leave the story for another day.
Out of my curiosity, I kept wondering why my baby that eats alot doesn't get fat rather, he got slimmer. Gbooom! it doned on me that it might be "Nta".Nta is a sickness that I dont know the cause. It makes a child look slim and malnourished and requires traditional treatment. Doctors dont even believe in it. One of the doctors called it, "Failure to strive". 🤔
My baby now look healthy and well. God is involved from the beginning and I was also very smart and observant.
