TALENTED CHEF NEEDED
We need a talented chef that committed to crafting the finest recipes, refining plate presentation and delighting customers. Dedicated to producing a skilled crew and highly efficient operations, a chef who can also serve as a valuable leader by training and mentoring team members.
Contributions of a great chef:
1. Create new recipes based on knowledge of ingredients and cooking methods
2. Oversee kitchen staff and provide instruction regarding meal preparation, cooking and delivering dishes to customers
3. Make responsible purchasing decisions while adhering to budget
4. Build and sustain positive relations with distributors and vendors
5. Resolve concerns raised by kitchen staff and customers
6. Comply with safety, food handling and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or HND in culinary arts or related discipline
2. Experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant
3. Kitchen management experience, including hiring and training staff members
4. Understanding of beverage and food handling policies
5. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
6. Adaptability and flexibility
7. Familiarity with POS systems and inventory control systems
8. Creativity
9. Detail-oriented
10. Must be good with both international and local dishes
