On 20th June, Ver Bar welcomes acclaimed bartenders Mika Koba & Shinya Koba of Yakoboku for an exclusive one night guest shift.

After returning to his hometown of Kumamoto, Shinya Koba helped put the city on the global cocktail map with Yakoboku, crafting drinks deeply inspired by local culture, ingredients, and traditions. Together with Mika Koba, they bring a unique perspective on Japanese hospitality and cocktail craftsmanship that has captivated guests from around the world.

Yakoboku has also earned recognition on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, further cementing its reputation as one of the region’s most exciting cocktail destinations.

Join us for an evening of thoughtful cocktails, storytelling through flavour, and a taste of Kumamoto in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
