Café Français Negombo Good food will always put you in a good mood.. Our new home in Negombo was designed as a warm and open space, reflecting the spirit of our cuisine.

After ten successful years in Colombo, Café Français, a flagship Mediterranean restaurant in Sri Lanka, relocated
to the vibrant coastal city of Negombo in January 2025. Now located on bustling Poruthota Road, just steps from the beach, our restaurant remains committed to offering a refined, authentic, and welcoming dining experience. Founded by Michelin-starred chefs Jacques and Laurent Pourcel, alongside Olivier Chateau and
Jean-Charles Toussaint, Café Français continues to showcase the elegance of French gastronomy,
enhanced by Mediterranean influences and a deep respect for local products. With
a breezy terrace, natural light, and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, everything invites you to enjoy a timeless
moment.
