As mentioned yesterday, our President and Representative have been selected for the Mixology Cocktail World Championship in Phuket, Thailand, and will be competing this Friday and Saturday. Because of this, there will be no Flair Show Times on those days.

Miyagikyo is the absolute best!!!

Hell yeah! I'm Daisaharin Takenaka!

Over here at Akashic Records, we’ve been getting more and more Miyagikyo Distillery limited bottles. All the bartenders who love Miyagikyo are absolutely thrilled!

I personally love starting a premium whisky neat and then switching to on the rocks—the quality is honestly mind-blowing!!

Akashic Records is a bar that puts a lot of passion into our cocktails, of course, but also into our whisky and rum selection!

Also, our "Flair Show Time" every Friday and Saturday is always a huge hit... however...

This coming Friday and Saturday, the "Flair Show Time" will be on break. 💦

Why? Because... finally!! This Friday and Saturday, our President, SHI-TAKA, and our Representative, Takeya, will be in Phuket, Thailand, representing Japan in a World Mixology Cocktail Competition! They’ll be out of the country for the big event!

It might feel a bit lonely without them, but this is a massive stage for them!

We’d love to have everyone’s support and cheers!!

⁡⁡奄美方面が梅雨入りしたみたいですね……
１ヶ月後位には大阪も早ければ梅雨入りしそうですね(´；ᴥ；｀)
どうもちゃんまんです！
湿気の多い時期になってきましたね……
もう既に髪がウネウネ(~˙ᵕ‎˙)~元気に暴れ散らかしております(´；ᴥ；｀)

この時期くらいから幼少期に⟬紫陽花ゼリー⟭というゼリーがめちゃくちゃ好きで食べてた記憶があるんですけど皆さんはお好きでしたか？

私は四国の高知県の出身なのですがこの時期にはもっぱらたけのこ掘りに勤しんでた記憶もあります(*ˊ꒳ˋ*)
野生のイノシシとどっちが早くたけのこにありつくか……という野性味溢れるバトルを繰り広げておりましたね(*ˊ꒳ˋ*)懐かしい

さてさてそんなこんなで本日も18:00~27:00までアカシックレコードは元気に営業致しております！！

We’re definitely heading into that humid time of year... and my hair is already starting to curl and rebel with a mind of its own. (~˙ᵕ‎˙)~

Thinking about this season always brings back memories of my childhood—I used to absolutely love "Ajisai (Hydrangea) Jelly." Does anyone else have fond memories of it?

Growing up in Kochi Prefecture on Shikoku island, this was also the time I’d spend my days bamboo shoot hunting. It was a fierce, wild battle to see who could get to them first—me or the wild boars! (ˊ꒳ˋ) Such good memories.

Anyway, Akashic Records is open and ready for another great night from 18:00 to 03:00!!

さて、始めに書きましたが来月5月よりお店の営業時間を変更させていただく事となりました。
これまで金曜、土曜、祝前日は午前5時までの営業でしたが変更後は平日と同じく午前3時閉店へと変わります。
今まで以上に洗練された体験を提供する為のスタッフ育成や業務オペレーションの改善に充てる時間を確保する事が目的の変更となりますのでご了承下さい❗️

As you might have guessed, Gin is the star of our show. Whether it’s an infused variety or a traditionally distilled one, I love them all. There’s just something timeless about a simple, perfectly made Gin & Tonic.

Our Olive Gin & Tonic is a bit of a "hidden gem." While it sometimes sits in the shadow of our popular Yuzu version, it’s a captivating drink that draws guests from across the prefecture and even from overseas. It’s truly for those in the know.

While "Akashic Records" is often known for its photogenic, Instagrammable drinks, I (Chan-man) secretly recommend our original Gin creations!

And if you’re looking for something comforting, I also highly recommend our Burdock (Gobo) Moscow Mule. It’s made with Vodka rather than Gin, but it has a wonderful, earthy warmth that’s perfect when you want to relax.
