As many of you know, Sugar has now closed.
Thank you to everyone who shared time, music, and memories with us there.

We’re now opening a new space in Shinden, Hakuba.

KURA is a small music bar focused on spirits, cocktails, and sound —
a place to slow down, listen, and drink well.

Less rush, more atmosphere.
Less noise, more intention.

Special guest Dj Hokuto at Sugar!

Tokyo’s DJ HOKUTO is renowned for his eclectic music selection, sharp scratching technique, and ability to read the crowd. A resident DJ at Japan’s top clubs like ageHa, he has played at major festivals such as ULTRA JAPAN and toured extensively across Asia, the US, and Europe, including Amsterdam’s Encore Festival. He was the first Japanese DJ for CLUB KILLERS and hosted a mix show on Hawaii’s FM BOMB. In 2008, he founded ZIPANGSTAR, a DJ agency and event production team shaping Tokyo’s music scene. With his dynamic performances and top-tier mixing, DJ HOKUTO is a must-hear talent.
