🏔️L’estinto ~ LATTE DI DAU 🐐
Chiudiamo la nostra drink list con un tragico addio.🥲
Il Dàu, purtroppo, è estinto ormai da anni, ma la sua fama vive ancora.
Ungulati di media taglia, caratterizzati da due zampe più corte su uno dei due fianchi. Questa particolare conformazione permetteva loro di muoversi agilmente su terreni altrimenti impraticabili.
La loro curiosità e l’insofferenza nei confronti dell’uomo furono però la loro rovina: quando si giravano di scatto, il loro peso e la particolare conformazione delle zampe li facevano rotolare rovinosamente verso valle.
In breve tempo, con l’arrivo del turismo, i Dàu scomparvero. Oggi ne rimangono soltanto i racconti.

Noi vogliamo omaggiare così queste creature antiche, docili ed eleganti, troppo spesso dimenticate. 🐐

We’re closing our drink list with a tragic farewell.🥲
The Dàu, unfortunately, has been extinct for years now, but its fame still lives on.
Medium-sized ungulates, distinguished by two shorter legs on one side of their body. This peculiar adaptation allowed them to move agilely across otherwise impassable terrain.
Their curiosity and intolerance towards humans, however, proved to be their downfall: whenever they turned suddenly, their weight and the particular shape of their legs would send them rolling helplessly downhill.
In a short time, with the arrival of tourism, the Dàu disappeared. Today, only their stories remain.
