Ever wondered what it’s like to party in an Icelandic fjord, on top of a Swiss mountain or inside an ancient Italian Heritage site?

Detour Discotheque is a one-of-a-kind pop up party, bringing the spirit of 70s disco to planet Earth’s most spectacular locations.

Named one of the ‘World’s Most Iconic Festivals’ by Culture Trip and the ‘World’s Most Vibrant Disco’ by Condé Nast Traveller.

Events are intimate, allowing 300 in-the-know guests to enjoy an epic weekend before it disappears.

We’re currently looking for some talented and fun people to join our lovely team:

🪩 A Strategic Partnerships lead to search for new venues and opportunities, pitch Detour to partners and manage those relationships.

🪩 An Event Manager to coordinate production, venue and security teams, write event plans and keep the show on the road.

🪩 An Event Stylist/Dresser to find hands-on ways of turning unusual spaces into glittering party palaces.

These are paid freelance roles. We’re looking for people with relevant experience to join a tight-knit team of disco lovers with a passion for adventure!

is the prince of Italian disco-funk and the heir apparent to the late, great Pino D’Angio.
d__ is a DJ and collector who regularly ignites dance floors at legendary Disco Disco nights.

is the First Lady of Italian disco and house culture.

“This year Detour Discotheque is heading to Matera, the southern Italian city known for its ancient cave-dwellings dug into the limestone hillside. Over three nights, from September 11-13, the event — for a maximum of 300 people — will turn terraces and subterranean spaces into a series of retro discos.” ❤️
