Someplace Else Mumbai designed by Project Orange, London, is anything but ordinary - with each visit taking you on an elevated journey of the senses.
The showstopper is the prominent island bar where bartenders serve up a personalised drink experience to guests. With glass globes in fuchsia and cobalt blue tints suspended from the ceiling, this spot serves as the highlight of the lounge shedding an ethereal glow as the day progresses. The deep orange skirting around the bar contrasts the gorgeous blue, red and browns and beige fabric artwork flanking the stage adding to the colour of place and directing one's gaze to the live performances.
Offsetting this burst of colour is the subtle patina wall at the entrance of the bar which leads you in the main seating area of the lounge. Once again, the colour and design from the assortment of fabric, textures and materials used in the different niche seating and table arrangements allows the lounge to play host to live music, stand up comedy shows, book readings or corporate lunches.
To put it succinctly, Someplace Else is a canvas in contrast where palettes and the palate are tantalised and teased.
