Hai Frnds .., thank u for ur Support for the Club I hope u all will be waiting to know what it is All about..!! so for all those Curious Hearts I’m sharing this..
I’m Mohan and my name described nothing until I completed my school with First class Marks (TRUE) and in that Funny moment when everyone was trying to mold me into something they actually wanna Become in their own life I was confused to become an Aeronautical Engineer with no mechanic skills at all..! As this Society corrupted all the Middle Class parents’ Mind my parents was not exceptional they wanted me to become an Engineer. So that I can have my life settled and safe for the Next generation of our Family.., but due to the financial situation during that time they switched the Idea,altered it,and I’ve the Option called B.A.Economics ,Obiviously I gotta approach a college for that where came the MIRACLE .. THE AMERICAN COLLEGE.. it was the Time where they were Starting a Course Called B.Sc. visual Communication which is all abt Movies , Plays and Less Books..!! GOD which I was always Dreaming abt.
The course had very limited Seats and with some confidence left in Mind I dint even approached any other College … but The course fee gave me an Heart attack.. Devils are Everywhere..! At the same time God too., “I Was Expecting a Bank to Give Me LOAN and leave me ALONE”.. it happened..!! Yay..! :D
07 BVC 13 is the name they started calling me.. First Batch Viscom Student too busy to feel proud Movies and Reviews every day , a lot abt Environment, an ocean abt art was left to be Learnt .Mistakes and Beliefs , struggles (Internals & Semesters) and Moments..!! Life changed ..! I must be Thankful always to my unlce who used to Hire Cd players during my childhood to watch English and World Movies with No subtitles we laughed for Actions and comedies with half Understandings..!! It Helped and I found my path.. this was it is all about..!
Projects,Music Videos,Short films, And There came the Theatre Department..!! we were supposed to associate them Technically as we r the Media Dept. , then days went we got Theatre & Cinema” to our Syllabus ! My Team with different skills was waiting For this.. we selected Sujatha’s Kolai Drama to be staged which was not an Easy Job – 36 pages of Dialogues and screen play with it.. I love Sujatha (the Writer)for it. We started ! -180 days of Die-hard Practice actually we enjoyed it..!! The Moment came we staged our First Play -2000 ppl in the front with No Microphones we were supposed to shout our Dialogues with Expressions and Modulation.! Even the Secret in the Play has to be Heard by those 2k ppl..!
KOLAI – We Killed..!! it was a Hit ..!! Drama Thirst continued.. But Disaster came.. Some Unexplained Administration problem in our College..things Got Collapsed..dreams scattered..!! The Good thing is we completed our Graduation with no flaws.
2010 – when all my frnds moved on with their Higher Studies few of us were thinking abt our Cinema and Acting Dreams,and seriously doesn’t wanted any jobs which would kill our dreams. Had No options for earning money..i worked in an Event Management Company where my communication was used in marketing areas ,servicing Clients. U can’t force a Swimmer to Drown in a six feet depth Water without swimming..!! I quit..
SURPRISE is there was always a Dancer in me .. I found him.. I started taking class for School children and earned a Little.. Mean while I got a Media oriented job in Doordharshan.. and Years went.. where is My Dream..?? Is the Qtn going on inside..!! I seated my self , Prepared a Syllabus and I approached a School for a Course Called DRAMATICs..!! I won.. I was Teaching Them for the Past one Year and I’m happy tat I made differene in their Life..!! But Schools ‘ve Restrictions for Imaginations and Priorities for Academics. So I can’t Fly Free.. Dance Is giving me a clean Platform and Pain killers in all means of Time.
So, I found Myself as an Artist who can Bridge the Gap between dance & Drama..!! as I’m a choreographer in south’s most Respected Danscool Called YOUFORIA..! I’ve been allowed to start my Drama Dreams soon.!
TRUST ME ..i’ve no idea whether this “STUPIDO DRAMA CLUB” is gonna ‘ve a Future but I can give u an Awesome Present..!!
