Quest Mall has established itself as an iconic address for all things luxury in Kolkata. The mall separates the east and west view of the city, offering two completely different skylines. When the mall’s 6th floor’s construction was completed, Mr. Sanjiv Goenka realized that this spot offers a fabulous view of the Kolkata skyline. With this in mind, he asked Niyati Parekh and Samarth Parekh of Global Kitchens Kolkata to come up with a unique dining experience for this location & thus SKAI was born!

The name SKAI combines the two important aspects “Sky” & Kai (Food in Maori). It is a rooftop restaurant and premium lounge which offers the most distinctive drinking and dining experience. “Our Patrons should look out for Energy, Innovation, and Comfort. I want the customer to have an overall fulfilling experience. I wish a person to enter the restaurant and only leave once the place closes. A successful combination of Food, Drink, Ambience and Service are essential to achieve this goal,” quoted Ms. Niyati Parekh, the mastermind of the Project.

The Culinary Experience at SKAI is an eclectic mix of new age dishes & old school favourites. Inspired by cuisines from across the globe, the menu has options that cater to diverse palates and appetites. With a key emphasis on unique flavour pairings, modern cooking techniques and fun presentation styles, dining at SKAI are surely going to be a memorable experience. Based on the theme of SKAI, the menu has been conceptualized by Niyati Parekh, in collaboration with Pooja Raheja and Neeraj Sharda of Eat, Drink, Design, Mumbai.
