Rules and regulations for the events are given below. All those interested are requested to give it a glance.
Rules and Regulation for festinobeats 5.0
Fine Arts & Photography
Rangoli-
• No. of participants: 2 member
• Time: 1 hour
• Participants are required to bring their own colors and decorative items accordingly.
Mehendi
• No. of participants: 1 member
• Time: 1 hour
• Participants are required to bring their own mehendi.
• The mehndi must cover both hands and also must be covering both sides of the
palm.
• The mehndi must extend up to the wrist.
Collage Making
• No. of participants: 2 member
• Theme will be disclosed 30 minutes before the competition
• Time : 1hour
• Participants are required to bring Newspapers, magazines, glue, scissors, colors.
• Participants will have to give an explanation to the judges at the end of the competition.
Sketching
• No. of participants: 1 member
• Time: 45 min
• Topic for the sketching will be disclosed 30 minutes before the competition
• Participants are required to bring their own stationary, only drawing sheet will be provided by the college. Colors are not allowed.
• Participants will not be allowed to give any explanation of the sketch, it must be self explanatory.
Face Painting
• No. of participants: 1 member
• Time: 1hr
• Participants are required to bring their own colors
• Participants are required to bring their friends on whose face the painting will be done
Pot Painting
• No. of participants: 1 member
• Time : 30 Minutes
• Participants are required to bring their own material for decoration, colors etc.
• Pots will be provided by the college.
Best out of Scrap
• No. of participants: 2 member
Time: 1hr 30 Minutes
• Theme will be disclosed on the spot.
• Participants are required to bring their own glue, scissors, colors, fevicol.
• All the waste/scrap material will be provided by the college
• Any participant found using material other than the scrap provided by the college will be disqualified.
Cook without fire
No. of participants per team: 2 members
• Time: 1hr
• Participants are required to bring their own material as per their requirements
Tatto Making
No. of participants per team: 2 members
• Tattoo making area - upper portion of arm (shoulder to elbow.)
• Time limit – 30 minutes.
• Arrange all the material to be used by yourself.
• Participants are required to bring their friends on whose arm tattoo will be designed.
Salad Carving/Decoration
• Time period – 30 minutes.
• No of participant in a team- 2 members
• Any sort of vegetables/ fruits can be used.
• Bring all materials yourself. (vegetables, fruits, serving dish, knife etc)
• Artificial items and synthetic colors are not allowed.
• Candidates have to bring raw materials only.
Caricature
• No of participant individual.
• Time period- 45 min
• Theme will be given on spot.
• Participants are required to bring their material.
Mosaic
• No of participants in a team- 2 members
• Time period – 30 min
• Only glass pieces can be used for designing.
• Participants are required to bring their material
Nail Art
• No of participant individual
• Time period -30 min
• No theme
• Participants are required to bring their friends on whose nails design will be made.
• Participants are required to bring their material
Hair Styling
• No of participant individual
• Time period -30 min
• Participants are required to bring their friends on whom hair styling will be done.
• Participants are required to bring their accessories and material.
Clay Art
• No of participants in a team- 2 members
• Time period – 50 min
• Only clay can be used for designing.
• Participants are required to bring their material
T- Shirt Painting
• No of participants in a team- 1 members
• Time period – 45 min
• Theme will be given on spot.
• Participants are required to bring their material except T shirt which will be provided by organizers.
Soap Carving
• No of participants in a team- 1 members
• Time period – 45 min
• Participants need to carve the object given
• Participants are required to bring their material except soap which will be provided by organizers.
Best Shot (Still photography)
• No. of participants per team: 1 member
• Participants should register with their digital camera.
• Only photos from campus with date should be submitted.
• An entered photograph must have been taken and owned by the entrant
• Digital manipulations and adjustments are not allowed (no Photoshop or
• any software effects allowed) .
• Full Day (10:30 to 4:00) will be given to the participants.
Movie Making
• No. of participants per team: 1 member
• Participants should register with their digital camera.
• Only videos from campus with date should be submitted.
• An entered photograph must have been taken and owned by the entrant
• Digital manipulations and adjustments are not allowed (no Photoshop or
• any software effects allowed) .
• Full Day (10:30 to 4:00) will be given to the participants.
Hobby Collection
• No of participants in a team- 1 members
• Time period – 20 min.
• Participants are required to bring their collection. Judges will ask question to
the participants regarding their hobby collection they have bought.
NOTE
• All the participants need to reach the venue 5 min early.
• Late entries will not be entertained.
• Once the event gets started no one will be allowed to move away from the venue.
• Organizing committee has the right to cancel the participant at any point of time.
