Lets time travel to the era of my grandfather

This logo signifies the East Indian legacy of my grandfather who left his home at the tender age of 12 to face the world and after years of hard work, set up his own spirits business.. If you look closely at the picture you can see a Boat that signifies his voyage from his house and the Pot still that signifies his spirit business that he set up after hard work, just like Don Facundo Bacardi who left his home town and later became one of the pioneers of the spirits business.These elements depict the story behind my cocktail

East Indian: (Blcc Entry by Roger Gomes, Finalist from North India Region)

Philosophy behind the cocktail: In 1830 Don Facundo Bacardi, moved from Catalan to Cuba and in 1862 he gave the world the first light rum, in similar fashion my grandfather left his home during his childhood and after years of hard work gave his East Indian community a local spirit which was very popular then. And I believe that's what decided my destiny...

I never imagined that one day I will be in the same business as my family was, not distilling but shaking few. From becoming a engineer to landing a job in the bar I've had my share of ups and major downs .

I have been part of BLCC for the past two years and both years been part of the prestigious Untameable 13 and what I learnt in 2 years is that "True Passion can't be Tamed" so here I am presenting you all my Legacy drink for this year which is a mix of my learnings and ingredients from last 2 years legacies.
