This Friday, Eric Paul will play the closing set at Cirrus. Cloud computing salesperson by day, underground tech house and techno DJ by night, Eric is the Chennai electronic dance music scene’s very own Batman.
Eric’s sound is a distinctive blend of techno and tech house, woven together with an intense attention to the balance between occasion, ambience and tone. His DJ journey began as a co-conspirator in the Cabal that gave Speed it’s almost mythical reputation as Chennai’s premier underground electronic music destination in the early nineties.
After the club closed in 2007, Eric has taken that brand of uncompromising sound to other premier venues around the city, including Q-Bar, Blend, The Purple Room, Dublin, EC-41 and Aqua, and has gained a fiercely loyal – almost cult – following in Chennai over the last 8 years. In recent years, Eric’s devotion to his craft has seen him play at the Go!Madras and TGFT electronic dance music festivals held in Chennai.

Denoy will be opening proceedings on Friday. Born in a family with musical background, Denoy was introduced to music very early in his life. Once he was introduced to electronic music there was no looking back. He is a versatile DJ spinning sets across genres as diverse as Drum n Bass to House music.
So April 21st Friday; fasten your seatbelts, while Denoy sets the tone with an opening set & Eric takes control playing some unhinged techno!

Knique & Jeza is the DJ alias of Niksh*th Shetty & Jayaram Sharma. The contribution of these 2 artists has been immense in the bustling underground music scene in Bangalore. When they take control of the decks, they play unadulterated underground house music, pounding warehouse techno to soulful chicago house. Knique & Jeza ensure that you are strapped to the dancefloor & your heart to the music.

Their contribution to the music community does not stop at mind-bending sets on the dance-floor. They also run a music school christened Mixlabs for aspiring musicians.

Before them Always Lukas, will be playing some warm sounds to set the tone for the night.

It is all happening this Friday April 7th at Cirrus. Knique & Jeza take control!

This Friday March 31st, Cirrus hosts the DJ duo Shashwat Trivedi and Akshay Chaz with the stage moniker Shash & Chaz. They started as individual acts before coming to the conclusion that the only logical progression would be to collaborate, since they shared a very similar sonic palette.

Their sounds encompass lush atmospheres, vivacious bass lines and their tonality leans towards the more moody, melodic and dark spectrum, while remaining musically inclined and staying true to the dance floor.

Before Shash & Chaz take control of your senses, Anirudh will be playing an opening set . Anirudh has been in the underground music scene for a while now. His sets are carefully crafted with some stunning tracks.

With his hypnotic set, Anirudh will be creating the vibe for the night!

He has been pushing the boundaries of dance music with his unique brand of Techno, Tech-House & Deep Funk. Hora has forged a reputation as one of the most diligent artists with his tireless devotion to the craft of DJ-ing.
