3 more sleeps!!!

Viva returns on the 17th June with a classics night. During the 90’s the dance scene really started to flourish in Ireland, in Wexford, in the late 90s early 00s, it really took off! Venues like Lambert’s in Camolin, The Regal Lodge in Wexford, and The Sands in Courtown were thronged with busloads of people from all parts of the country each week.

International acts such as Billy Nasty, Mauro Picotto, Tall Paul, CJ Bolland, Lisa Lashes, Judge Jules, but to name a few, joined the best of Irish djs such as Mr Spring, Mark Kavanagh, DJ Pressure, and Francois, alongside some serious local talent, to create a scene that was unrivalled in the country.

VIVA want to pay homage to the dance music of that time and step back for a night of classics.

Special Guest DJ on the night is Bray’s own James Devlin who regularly frequented the model county. The Devotion Dance label boss will be digging into one of the most impressive record collections on the island to bring us a set of pumping nostalgic bangers. If you were around then you will know what to expect, if you weren’t, well you’re in for a treat.

Joining him on the night will be Conor Doyle and Nordine Chigara who regularly played at some of the top nights during that golden era of dance in Wexford.

Expect to hear… Tidy Trax, PUSH, Mark Kavanagh, Lock ‘n’ Load, Scott Project, Tony de Vit, Mauro Picotto, Mr Spring, Bedrock, H***y Horns, Slam, Marco V, Scott Project, Matt Darey, Timo Maas, Binary Finary, BK, Delirium, Andy Farley… do you get the picture!

Whistle and glow sticks optional, Dancing compulsory!

Limited early bird tickets are on sale now. Link in bio.
