Ji - Japanese Fusion, Fine Wines and Sake Bar - is the only restaurant housed in an original 311-year old Kang XI period temple. The bar is a unique collection of fine sakes and wines and contemporary Asian-inspired cocktails with homemade infused liquors. The interior of this wine and sake area surrounds the theme of KABUKI, with Japanese lanterns, partitions, old poetry carved on wooden panels.

If you are more of a beer drinker, make sure you do not miss the rare Japanese beers. The cuisine at JI is inspired by the centuries old cooking tradition from Japan, with slight influences from other East-Asian cuisines in a delicate fusion of flavours, featuring some of the finest art of sushi in the island. Our 2nd and 3rd floor, Ji Terrace By THE SEA will take you on a journey to the heart of Indonesia, Japan, India, and Thailand with contemporary & playful Japanese & Asian inspired dishes and a 180 degrees undisturbed view over the sparkling Indian Ocean and Canggu Beach. The food served at Ji terrace by the sea is a modern interpretation of ancient Asian cultures. We detour from the classical Japanese route at JI Terrace by the Sea. Our team of Japanese & Asian-trained chefs, led by Chef Colin Buchan in the creation of the menu(previously chef of Gordon Ramsay restaurants in London as well as Jason Atherton’s Pollen in Singapore and personal chef of David and Victoria Beckham), had fun experimenting with creating dishes that are global, contemporary & playful. The cocktails take a similar inspiration as the food – with Asian infusions of our premium spirits, the cocktails at Ji Terrace by the Sea are 200% seductive in flavours as well as presentation. On the 2nd and 3rd floor, as the DJ plays seductive tunes from sunset to evening, Ji Terrace by the Sea celebrates Bali beach life to the fullest!
