Super typhoon is a reminder of the nature’s might, destructive force that gets into human’s comfort zone and tell them that something is not right.
ST +10 is a reminder that life is fragile, not unlimited and that we always have to have it in mind. It is a reminder that it makes no difference that we leave this world rich or poor, we leave the same mountain of excrements and pond of urine. Be it a result of digestion of truffles, caviar, foie gras , Champagne and expensive wine, or just some junk food, cheap beer and coke. In pursuit of eternal happiness, after regular flights, excessive shopping and consumption we leave a huge carbon footprint as well. Life is today and now. You are what you eat, what you drink, but also what you read, what you watch, the art you have on your walls, your books, the people you help, the friends you have…It is more about your cultural and social footprint that stays after you. You can be the richest man on the cemetery, but you lived a miserable live because of worries and anxieties. You can exhaust yourself in a pursuit of pleasures and luxuries without reaching it.
But the true pleasure is far from being frivolous and is the ultimate indication of a life well lived.
