Yumi Yoshikawa-san, Global Brand Ambassador of Chichibu Distillery, will lead this guided tasting and masterclass. This insightful experience will explore Chichibu’s philosophy, craftsmanship, and evolution since its founding.

Mortlach, 22y Silver Seal IB Ex Sherry Cask, 56.9%
(Dufftown Speyside, Mortlach Distillery)
A 1997 vintage and highly collectible single malt. Silver Seal dedicated this bottling to Giorgio D’Ambrosio, the legendary Italian whisky importer and proprietor of the famous Bar Metro in Milan.
- Nose: Chestnut, mushroom, cured meat, cumin
- Palate: Powerful and savoury, meaty, black cardamom, clove, liquorice

Caol Ila, 15y Silver Seal IB “Italian Wildlife’’ Edition, 52.8%
(Port Askaig Isle Of Islay, Caol Ila Distillery)
The wolf label expresses the power of the distillery’s distillate, balanced with PX cask fruit sweetness and balsamic notes of the forest.
- Nose: Smoky BBQ, wood fire, dark chocolate, salted caramel, cinnamon

Dailuaine, 40y W&M 1983 Refill Oloroso Sherry, 54%

Matured entirely in a refill Oloroso sherry cask for four decades.

A trio of Highland and Speyside malts exploring the greener side of Scotch whisky.

Vegetal & Floral Whisky Flight:

Glen Garioch 10y
(Early 2000s release, 40% ABV)
A classic expression from one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries. Dry and malty with hints of violet/floral notes and sweet spices with an exceptionally smooth finish.

Glendullan 18y — Cadenhead Bourbon Cask
(Dufftown, Speyside, 55.6% ABV)
Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2015, 456 bottles were released by Cadenheads the Independent Bottler.
Rich notes of vanilla, honey and orchard fruit meet a fresh grassy edge, leading to a long, warming finish.

Edradour 19y— “The Animals” Series 1990
(Pitlochry, Highland, 46% ABV)
From Scotland’s smallest distillery, an extremely rare vintage single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1971 and bottled in 1990 by the legendary Italian independent bottler Moon Import.
Earthy and complex nose with molasses, and aged citrus (chen pi), complemented by lemon-butter, green apple, and mint palate.

We have selected three pre-closing bottlings from our Library for our just launched “ Vintage and Rare” whisky flight:

Rosebank 21y
(Diageo Release 2014, 55.3%):
Distilled before the original 1993 closure, this represents the pinnacle of the “King of the Lowlands.” It is a triple-distilled, worm-tub-condensed whisky known for its floral yet rich character.

Imperial 18y
(Signatory Vintage 1995, 53.4%):
An old-school Speyside malt that is elegantly bright with a waxy and oily finish. The distillery was demolished in 2013, and its salvaged bricks now form the modern Dalmunach Distillery.

Port Ellen 25y
(Distilled 1978, 56.2%):
A legendary Islay vintage distilled before its 1983 closure and recent 2020s revival, from a site that continued supplying peated malt to other Islay distilleries.

It is truly a taste of liquid history.

Starting today, we are launching five new whisky tasting flights.

Our first flight is a classic “sherried bomb” tasting from Glenfarclas. As one of the few remaining family-owned distilleries in Scotland, Glenfarclas is known for its unwavering commitment to the traditional Speyside style. Matured predominantly in European oak sherry casks, these whiskies offer rich layers of dried fruit, gentle spice, and a long, warming finish.

The flight includes:

- Glenfarclas 25 Years Old (Older Release), 43% ABV
- Glenfarclas 15 Years Old (1990s Bottling), 46% ABV
- Glenfarclas Family Casks 1986 (Bottled 2014), 55.5% ABV

A swizzle is a refreshing, crushed-ice cocktail family mixed directly in its serving glass using a multi-pronged tool called a swizzle stick.

A key example is the Queen’s Park Swizzle, a classic Trinidadian rum cocktail often described as a “Mojito on steroids.” It is named after the historic Queen’s Park Hotel in Port of Spain, Trinidad, where it was created in the 1920s.

Ingredients:

- 60ml Dark or Demerara Rum
- 22.5 ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 15 ml Simple Syrup
- 10 - 12 Fresh Mint Leaves
- 4–6 Dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters
