My dear friends, old sports, and glittering revelers of the night,It is with a heavy heart that I must announce our grand finale. At the close of this year, my beloved speakeasy shall dim its lights for the last time, after an epic ten-year run that rivaled the most extravagant soirees of yesteryear.
Oh, what a spectacle it has been—a whirlwind of jazz, laughter, and old fashionds! So lets not go quietly into the night, lets continue to throw the most extravagant parties till our last night together.
I first opened my doors to peak the interest of my beloved Mrs. Pound and rival Dr. Fern, but throughout the years I gained so much more; I’ve witnessed proposals that sparkled brighter than the diamonds on a flapper’s neck, weddings where vows were sealed amid the swirl of confetti and champagne, and those quiet, tearful reunions where old flames rekindled under our velvet canopy.
How many hearts have mended, how many dreams have taken flight within these walls? But fear not, my splendid companions! We shall not fade quietly into the mist. Until the final curtain falls, we will continue to summon the best musicians—Halloween anchored by On Point, we will be bringing back our favourite performers Chris Polanco, and The Carpio Brothers, and the grand finale of The Bloodest Saxophone!
Raise your glasses one last time, to Foxglove—the dream that dazzled for a decade. Come, let us make these remaining evenings eternal.
Yours in eternal revelry,
Frank Minza.
