I became more attached to Savvas Dorkofikis than I could ever have imagined becoming to a client. Perhaps because, from the very first moment, I recognized that I was standing in front of a true athlete.
It was an honor and a great pleasure to host the entire Dorkofikis family, as well as the coaches from the Glyfada area. We had an incredible time and truly unforgettable holidays together.
Periklis Dorkofikis may have excelled in Greece’s top basketball division, played abroad, represented major teams such as Olympiacos, AEK and Peristeri, and also played in Italy. Savvas may not have followed the same path or had the basketball career his brother achieved on the court. However, Periklis was the one who encouraged Savvas, after he finished his own athletic career, to pursue personal training. Today, Savvas is one of the most well-known and respected coaches in Glyfada — and, I would say, throughout Greece as well. It is a beautiful continuation of the Dorkofikis family’s sporting legacy, especially now that Periklis has chosen to pursue a career in politics.
They are beautiful, genuine and down-to-earth people. People who have sports and the pursuit of excellence running through their veins. And perhaps that is what sets them apart: throughout their lives, they have learned to set rules, respect boundaries, embrace discipline, compete, and above all, live by their values.
I am truly happy that I had the opportunity to meet you, and even happier that we shared these wonderful moments together.
Savvas, thank you for your trust, your kindness, and the beautiful bond we have created. In the end, people are the most beautiful part of every hosting experience. ❤️
Although your vacation has come to an end at this beautiful accommodation you chose to experience genuine Zakynthian hospitality through me, I truly believe that this is only the beginning of a new and strong relationship — one that will continue and grow well into the future, in 2026 and beyond. ❤️
