Dear friends/guests

After 31 years it is time for me to leave Chez Georges Cafe & Cocktail Bar. It has been 31 memorable years and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and with some of you it has developed into a lifelong friendship.
From now on you will find Margaretha and me in Kavousi where we will re-open my family’s kafeneio.
We hope that if you are in the neighborhood you will pay us a visit.

Αγαπητοί φίλοι/πελάτες,

Μετά από 31 χρόνια ήρθε η ώρα να αφήσω το Chez George Cafe & Coctail Bar. Ήταν 31 αξέχαστα χρόνια και νιώθω τυχερός να γνωρίσω τόσους υπέροχους ανθρώπους, που με μερικούς εξελίχθηκε σε ειλικρινή φιλία.

Από εδώ και στο εξής, θα βρείτε την Μαργκαρέτα και εμένα στο Καβούσι, όπου θα ξαναλειτουργήσουμε το καφενείο της οικογένειάς μου.
Θα χαρούμε να σας δούμε αν είμαστε στον δρόμο σας

We asked Victoria if she has any advice to someone wanting to write fiction? “I think you have to be very compelled by your own story - not in an arrogant way - but when you are mapping out the plot or telling the story to yourself, you should be excited to know yourself what happens. If it bores you in any way, it will bore the reader.”

I made a sign for our bar/cafe, Chez Georges. I tried to make the message look nice 🤣
The size is 40x180 cm so it is no excuse not seeing it 🤣
