During the campaign, President John Dramani Mahama promised to use Artificial Intelligence to track excavators and help stop illegal mining, especially around our water bodies.
But today, the question Ghanaians are asking is: Where is the promised AI, and where are the results?
Our rivers are still being destroyed, galamsey remains widespread, and reports indicate that around 60% of Ghana’s water bodies are polluted.
Mr President, Ghanaians don't need more promises or explanations. We need action.
If AI can track an excavator, let it also help track the kingpins financing galamsey.
