We are delighted to announce the winner of the Win a Keyworker Wedding as Anna and Richard.

Anna and her fiancee Richard met ten years ago at Chinery’s, in Southend. Anna is a children’s social worker and during the Covid-19 pandemic there has been an increase of referrals due to the pressure it has put on families. She has had to work a lot of late nights and weekends to support them. She has also had to juggle childcare with Richard, as they couldn’t use the keyworker school support due to their son’s continued illness. Their family and friends have been a huge support and have all been busy buying papers and voting. Anna said: “It’s been great as old school friends have been in touch after seeing us in the paper. I’ve supported many families impacted by their children’s traumas during Covid-19. I love my job helping families.”

The competition was the idea of Tina Wing from Tina Wing Photography in conjuction with The Chichester Hotel And Restaurant.

The wonderful prize, worth just under £13,000, was donated totally by local independant businesses, who have all been adversly affected by coronavirus themselves. The supplier businesses are;
