Soul on Sunday is back - this weekend from 4-11pm 🪩

A sunny afternoon with DJ playing all things soul, funk, disco and more. The perfect soundtrack for an Aperol in our beer garden 🍊 or to get up and dance to as the night goes on..

It’s quiz every Wednesday, and this week the cash jackpot is getting pretty big at £415 💷 It’s only £1 to enter the optional jackpot and the same to enter the quiz.

As usual, we’ll be doing 7 different rounds with changing themes each week, although you can always rely on a picture round and a music round.

Our bank holiday line up for this weekend ☀️ 🍸

We’ve got some fantastic events lined up for this long weekend, kicking off with DJ Kenton Crosby from 7-12 on Friday. He plays a set of mixed genres, all feel good music perfect for a cocktail with friends and a bit of a dance.

Saturday we have Live Human Jukebox - Neil Gibstar Gibson playing two loop pedal cover sets - he’s a great musician with a huge range of songs from all eras up his sleeve.

Sunday is our monthly Soul on Sunday DJ set with Steve Grant - it was such a nice evening last bank holiday and one to look forward to. A mix of all things Soul, Funk, Disco & More 🪩

Lastly, we have the Cuban Heels playing for us on Bank Holiday Monday! This is sure to be an incredible afternoon, with plenty of live Latin tunes and even New York Boogaloo. They’re a 4 piece band consisting of vocals, keyboard, drums, trumpet and double bass. We’re excited to have them and can’t wait for Monday to come round 💃

Beer Garden open from 12 & Live DJ from 7 🍸

Every Friday we have our fantastic resident DJ Kenton Crosby playing from 12 until midnight - and with today’s weather it seems like the perfect time for drink in the sun and some great tunes to match.

We’ve got Wylams new state of mind on tap tonight, and this weeks brand new X10 pale ale also coming on rotation.

As always, entry is free and you don’t need a booking - just turn up and grab a table!

Tonight is our weekly quiz, with 7 different rounds and 5 prizes up for grabs, including our Cash Jackpot which is at £333! Entry is only a quid and any tickets for the jackpot are just £1 each too 🎰

TODAY - Craft Beer Crawl & Live Music 🍻

Today from 12 ‘til 12 we’ll be opening and serving as usual - but with a couple different beers on for the Craft Beer Crawl from Low Quay, Almasty (and the old reliable Snake Eyes!)

If you haven’t heard yet, Hazy Daze Bottle shop have organised a fantastic crawl across the ‘Bay including a load of independent venues, giving discounts on the crafty taps Saturday to Sunday.

Plus, Kody Walker will be playing two cover sets from 8:30 - 10:30. He’s a great musician with loads of covers up his sleeve - it’s one we’ve been looking forward to!

We’re closing today to give the team a much needed day off after a the long weekend! We’ll be reopening tomorrow from 4pm as well as being back open every Tuesdays as of next week.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us over the Easter holidays - whether it was for the Live Music, DJs, Rhythm & Blues band or even just for a relaxing drink in the sun ☀️
