Hertford Shires Rotary The Rotary Club of Hertford Shires The Rotary Club of Hertford Shires is a local club based in Ware, Hertfordshire.

Part of the world-wide Rotary organisation, the club is within Rotary District 1260. We remain a relatively small and mixed club of nearly 30 members, and we were formed in 1997. We serve our local community and support international projects, mainly in Africa. We run annual competitions for essay-writing and Young Chefs, and our main fund-raising event is a Dragon Boat Race held on the River Lee.

We help our locality through a variety of activities including a Stroke Awareness campaign, various charity collections and "Lend-a-Hand".

We are sad to say but we have had to cancel our event with Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno . Thank you to everyone who helped raise awareness of the event but unfortunately we were unsuccessful in selling enough tickets to make the event break even🥲

To anyone who bought tickets, thank you, refunds have already been issued and should be with you shortly.
