Our signature dessert — Gulab Jamun.

This is a dish I’ve wanted to put on the menu for a long time. We held it back because I worried it looked too simple, but that’s exactly why I’ve grown to love it. It represents how I want to cook — substance over style, with flavour always coming first.

Inspired by the flavours of Persian love cake, the gulab jamun is soaked in an orange and cardamom syrup, served with pistachio ice cream that we churn fresh every day and finished with rose petals that we grind into a fragrant powder.

There’s nowhere to hide with something this simple. Every element has to be right.

It’s become my signature dessert because it represents what I believe in: taking something familiar, respecting it, and making every flavour count.

Gulab Jamun deserves far more credit — and I’m proud to make it my own.

A timeless classic, done properly. Our Steak Frites features perfectly cooked steak, golden crisp fries, and a rich, velvety peppercorn sauce—simple, comforting, and full of flavour. Honest cooking, quality ingredients, and a lunch favourite.

Our take on the classic fish and chips brings together the familiar flavours of your local chippy in a completely unexpected way. A single, perfectly brined and breaded piece of fresh Cornish fish is paired with a crisp triple-cooked chip, smooth tartare sauce, pickled shallots and fresh pea shoots, all served on Chef’s signature curry tortilla. Accompanied by an array of our homemade vinegars, every bite captures the nostalgia of a traditional fish and chip shop, reimagined with refinement, creativity and a touch of theatre. 🐟 #

Our fresh pasta course is a celebration of comfort, craftsmanship, and simplicity. Inspired by the timeless flavours of a classic carbonara, we handmake our pasta fresh each day and finish it with rich guanciale, aged Parmesan, and a silky sauce that lets every ingredient shine.

Being voted Best Restaurant in Cornwall in the Muddy Stilettos Cornwall awards for a second year running is something we don’t take lightly.

We’re genuinely grateful, and quietly proud… and we’re only just getting started.

More than anything, I’m incredibly lucky to work alongside a team who put so much care, pride, and heart into what they do. This really is as much their achievement as anyone’s.
