I'm now living in Gran Canaria so no longer running Dicky's Disco. I had some memorable times and a lot of fun making people happy and getting them up dancing!

Time to hang up my DJ headphones now but the beat goes on and on....

I've not posted any new videos for a while as I have been in Spain and Gran Canaria quite a bit, so now I am back I put together a few compilations from some recent bookings I have played over the summer here.

Here is some video from Anne & Rob's wedding at the Moathouse in Hanley on 23rd July. This was a great party and I have to say was the first wedding party I saw the bride playing air guitar to Queen!!

It was quite a narrow dancefloor area so I placed lighting at either end of the room and I hope you think this worked really well.

And last but not least the video from Matt & Michelle's wedding at The North Staffs Hotel on 3rd September. This is a very spacious 'ballroom' style venue so it took some large banks of speakers and almost 6kW of amplifiers to fill the room with good quality sound - plus plenty of lighting to give a proper disco club effect. It's one of the largest rigs I have ever setup and the effect was impressive!! The party was too!

I DJed for a suprise 40th birthday last Friday and I wedding on Saturday.

Friday night was just amazing!! This is one of the best parties i have ever had the chance to play.... superb party people and some seriously banging tunes!

Here are a few videos from the night. I couldn't edit them all into one video as they were filmed on different cameras.

This is the first time I played where they said 'don't stop for the buiffet, just keep on partying'

On Friday 8th April I had the pleasure to DJ at Wendy's brilliant 50th birthday bash at the Gardeners. I was using some of my new lighting and believe I created a great show with sweeping multicoloured light beams and pink lasers!!!

Last night I DJed at a brilliant Party! This was Pauline Hussey's 40th Birthday at the Institute Club in Burton-on-Trent. The venue was really busy with loads of guests celebrating Pauline's birthday.

I took the opportunity to test some of my new lights - The ADJ On-X. I was using four of these and without doubt these created a full on club style experience with light beams sweeping all around the room!

Once the buffet had been served and everyone was properly hydrated the party started - I have to say this is the longest 'Macarena' line i have yet seen formed at one of my party nights!

This weekend I had the pleasure to DJ for Marc & Rachels wedding. I have played lots of memorable parties and this one was right up there amongst the best!

Now a little bird had told me a tale... that Marc and Rachel actually had a second choice for the first dance, and it was a close call as to which one got chosen - so after the first dance all the guests were invited to stay on the floor and join Marc & Rachel in dancing to their second choice - Tom Odell 'Grow Old With Me' - a wonderful wedding song that just builds and builds! This gave me the opportunity to shoot some of the most joyful video I have had chance to film

Dicky's Disco saw New Year in at an amazing party at The Clough Hall, Kidsgrove

There was plenty of partying going on and I was using my smaller 'Stoke Disco Hire' rig as it fit very well into this medium size venue.
