Ever wonder what happened to founder and DJ of Fizz Pop Disco, DJ Cosmo? Did he evaporate? Did he hop in a Tardis and travel through time and space to discover a world where pathogen-promoting pandemics have no place?

Well, yes, in a way, he did. And he wound up where? At Crew Radio—a place where the sun always shines and nobody wears a face mask—playing a 2hr stomping dance set with a singular intent to blow away yesteryear's news and, more importantly, yesteryear's blues.

So, if you're in the mood to put two fingers up to 2020 and embrace a better 2021, GO...put your glad rags on, don your dancing shoes and get out on the floor - be that the lounge, kitchen, bedroom, or even the bathroom floor. And rock out to his bumping, bouncing 2hr set kicking off at midnight. Where else do you need to be?

How to tune in? Easy peasy: ask Alexa or Google Assist at midnight (or before) to launch Crew Radio. Or simply log into www.crewradio.com, crank up the volume and get grooving!

Hi all, just a quick note to say that, due to Fizz Pop coinciding with other major events, we will NOT be hosting our monthly discos at the Stamford Arts Centre for the rest of the summer. Dates on the flyers have been cancelled.

Thanks to those of you who came down, offered your support and got your good groove on. And thanks especially to our friends and family members who helped out.

Time to enjoy the sun! We hope to see you again for more boogying in the autumn and winter.

This event is being heavily promoted in Stamford, Nene, and Peterborough and WILL SELL OUT FAST, so don't wait around to book. There are only 120 tickets available, so if you fancy three hours of dancing to some awesome tunes over the decades, with your young ones, book now!

There's a secure outdoor area for kids to play - it has a giant-sized Connect 4 - and loads of other entertaining toys in a venue set in spacious grounds. There's also a great cocktail and Gin and Fever Tree menu on top of what you'd usually expect at a good and well-stocked bar. Plenty of parking, too. What's not to like? Well it was always going to be a tough one: a right Royal Wedding (God bless you Harry and Megan), followed by the FA Cup Final (condolences Abramovich...visa is in the post), followed by searingly beautiful weather that rendered most incapable of doing anything other than staggering out of the sun-lounger to flip a burger on the barbie or pour another glass of fizz. For those who made it down, thanks for the round of applause at the end. So great to see mums and dads with their kids grooving to some seriously bolshy beats. NOTE: THE NEXT FIZZ POP DISCO IS BEING HOSTED AT THE NENE VALLEY COMMUNITY CENTRE, SATURDAY JUNE 9TH, AT THE LATER TIME OF 7-10PM.
