Hi Mark,

Just to say I had a fantastic time and thought the music choice was ace. Played some great songs that I had forgotten aboutā€¦canā€™t believe I was wriggling like a snake and waddling a duck doing the hucklebuck! Yes, it was a bit dark but didnā€™t stop us having a fun evening.

I spoke with one of the club members on Tuesday night who had been there in the other bar, and he also said how great the music was. He had heard some people complaining there was no DJ, but for me it meant the music was seamless and there was none of the chat that sees people drift off the dance floor wondering what the next song will be.

Looking forward to your next playlist. Iā€™m already recruiting more friends for the next one.

I'd like to thank everyone who came to my 60s 70s 80s Disco night at Sarisbury Green Community Centre last Saturday, 27th January.

You turned out in force to make it a sell out with another 60-70 people on the waitlist unable to get tickets.

You filled the dancefloor all night in the most amazing fancy dress outfits which were so good I hardly even recognised people I know well! You really did get right into the spirit of the occasion and it was fantastic to feel the incredible energy in the room.

A big thank you to all my friends who came and for those who helped set up and set down the room. I don't know what I would have done without you. A special thank you to Morna Birch who helped right from the outset when I first mentioned the idea and kept me going when the doubts came along.

Thank you to Paul the photographer from Eden Eye Photography who took these brilliant photos. You did a great job.

The music I played was in accordance to the response I received from several posts I put out a few months ago so apologies if you didn't get as much of what you like but I hope you still enjoyed yourselves.

Well, it's almost here. Just two days to go and I'm sorry for those of you who didn't manage to get a ticket as it sold out quickly. I managed to add 12 more tickets but they were snapped up by the waitlist in an hour or two.

So many people getting dressed up in their outfits so I'm anticipating a fun night as well as a night of great nostalgic music taking us back to our youth.
