In our Shrine room we play the rarest and most underplayed cuts culled from the 70's, 80's right up to current new releases and discoveries, to underplayed Northern, Crossover and Funky Northern, with the odd classic thrown in for good measure. Our Goldmine features the best raw, undiscovered talent and at SSW8 our blue Room is back featuring the best in rare Disco, Boogie, Funk, Broken Beats, Go Go, Latin, Jazz, Acid House, in short all the other stuff! Set in the stunning Stanwix Holiday Park in Cumbria, just 20 minutes from Carlisle, on the beautiful Solway Coast by the sea, we're back again with four rooms on our 5 star park. When THIS track drops on saturday…MFSB - BadFellas - La Cosa Nostra Italian Special Part II

After the massive success of our La Cosa Nostra event back in February, which was one of our busiest parties so far, we thought that we would bring you the sequel.

It was an electric atmosphere at the last La Cosa Nostra, as classic Italian track after classic Italian track and Italian releases were dropped, and the memories of raves, soulful house and disco/soul parties from the past came knocking once again.

We have enlisted some serious and repected muscle for the next MFSB hit to assist Yogi & Dave in enforcing the law of the dance floor. Jon ‘Meat Balls’ Mancini is a permanent fixture in the house mafia of Scotland, where he has been a Caporegime for STREETrave, Colours and Coloursfest for decades. Jon has lived through the whole Italian musical movement of clubland and we know that our Italian/Scottish hit man is gonna do a nice, clean job when he opens up his weapons on the MFSB crew.

Remember... Italian producers, Italian releases, Italian artists, and any quality dance music released on Italian labels from other territories are fair game, so expect some classics from Don Carlos, Giorgio Moroder, F.P.I. Project, G*t Decor, Liza, Dealer, A.S.H.A. and tracks from stables such as Irma Records, Flying, Disco Magic and Umm, as well as the odd artist curve ball from the likes of Kerri Chandler and M.A.W. with their Italian releases.

Need a lil’ help from my DJ friends here please. Lookin’ for someone in Stranraer to jus’ go and have a look at a rotary mixer for us if possible. Obviously it’s a few bob, so jus’ wanted somebody that knows a lil’ ‘bout mixers to cast an eye over it, and check everything is as it should be. Don’t want folk goin’ out their way, but it kinda beds to be looked at relatively sharpish if u are from Stranraer. Thanks for ure DM in advance.
