THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING 80s NIGHT!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, dressed up, danced and made the evening such a brilliant one. It was so lovely to see so many people happy, laughing and enjoying themselves. The 80’s really were the best decade
Now, a little word about the noise complaints…
To the residents who constantly feel the need to complain whenever we hold an event – please, give us a break!
We hold an event approximately once a month, not every night of the week. Our events are advertised on our website, and on occasions we have an approved Temporary Event Notice (TEN), which legally allows us to play music beyond our usual 11pm licensing hours - we would really appreciate it if people checked this before automatically submitting complaints to the council.
Better still, why not pop in and have a conversation with us? We are approachable people, running a local business and trying to bring a little entertainment and enjoyment to Sidmouth.
We fully appreciate that we have neighbours and always try to be considerate, but equally, we believe there should be a little give and take. We also cannot be held responsible for people leaving OTHER places and making noise, one night of entertainment a month really isn’t unreasonable.
To everyone who continues to support us, thank you. We absolutely love seeing the place full of happy faces!
