On this day in 1982, Visage released their second studio album, “The Anvil,” featuring classic songs like “The Damned Don't Cry" and “Night Train."

The album featured an all-star lineup: Steve Strange on lead vocals, Midge Ure on guitars, backing vocals, and synthesizer, Dave Formula on synthesizer, Billy Currie on electric violin and synthesizer, Rusty Egan on drums, backing vocals, and electronic drums, Barry Adamson on bass, Gary Barnacle on saxophone, and Perri Lister on backing vocals.
