Due to clash of other events happening Friday 2 June and Saturday 3 June, this event will be postponed to another Saturday. As soon as dates that don’t clash are available. I’ll repost. Until then, look out for private gatherings and tiki themed merriment.

Hey friends of the tiki bar that is The Blue Oyster at Seaton.

A little while ago I mentioned about a charity event that The Blue Oyster at Seaton would be hosting. Pleased to announce that the event will be taking place on Saturday 3 June from noon onwards.

The monies raised will go towards the Syria/Turkey Earthquake appeal.

The event costs £20 each and for that, you’ll get three drinks and a pizza made for you, with a choice of toppings.

The three drinks can be a combination of cider, beer, wine or a spirit and mixer.

They’ll be two signature cocktails and shots available at an additional donation.

They’ll also be option to purchase extra tapas dishes available on the day.

This is subject to weather.

But for now, please express your interest, so we can stock up accordingly. Friends and friends of friends welcome.

Will have a small selection of child friendly options and there’s no charge for children.

With buses from only £2 each way currrntly, think about making a day of it, with buses back to Exeter from Seaton around 7pm.

The aim is to raise around £200.

Another great shot by one of our visitors of our Head Barman and his 1st assistant. If no one has ever met our 1st assistant before. He’s Lord Montagu of Beaulieu. He’s in charge of cork collection and clearance of any fallen snacks. Chied responsibility of looking darn cute and begging for additional bar snacks to be dropped.

In honour of Tracey and Dennis’ upcoming Pearl Anniversay celebrations next weekend, weather permitting. The Blue Oyster at Seaton will be open Saturday morning 2 July from 10:30 serving mimosa’s until noon. There will be a limited supply of breakfast bagels too. This event is strictly limited. You’ll know in advance if you’ve made the VIP list.

Another successful season and though the sun shines bright today, we’re packed away til the Spring. Do look out for special Alpine and aprés ski evenings that might happen, complete with bratwurst and mulled wine and cider. For now though and to all our loyal patrons. See you next year.
