Thank you to everyone who joined us last night. Despite the brief technical issue, it was a great night, and was good to be back after a two month break. Hope you all had as much fun as we did. For our next club night we are really excited, because we'll be returning to The Cask Club, (under the Cask and Keg) which will be our first time there in 11 years. It's on Saturday 12th September, but we'll be starting at the slightly later time of 9pm. We really hope that you'll come along and support us, as it is a great venue.
Then after that Saturday 17th October, we'll be back at The Westover Club for our Annual Halloween Fancy Dress Special. Thank you again for all your support.

Just a reminder, we've got just under a month to go until our next Club Night, Sat 22nd August. As most of you will know, we are very laid back when it comes to our house rules, (which are pretty much non-existent), We are however going to have a slight rule change. From now on there will be no entry after 11pm. We have always charged £3 up to Midnight, then let people in for free for the last hour, Midnight - 1am, but as of late, some people have been trying to take advantage of this, (Staying in the pub until kicking out time at 11pm, then wandering up to us, and trying to sneak in for free, from 11:15 onwards). There will be exceptions to this rule, for people who have had to attend other events first, such as Scarbrough Open Air Theater, Scarbrough Spa, or any other various events, they will still be welcome. It is mainly to stop those who have already been drinking all night, and just want somewhere else to continue doing so, but don't have any interest in what we are actually doing as an event. We are a specialised Club Night that runs from 8pm - 1am, NOT a Night Club / Late Night Drinking Place, for people to carry on drinking at once the pubs have closed.

Also, thank you to the many people who have messaged, asking if we will be running an event at Whitby Goth Weekend This October. The short answer is no. The long answer is, we have decided not to, as there are already a number of DJ events on in town. We have run 4 events of our own in Whitby and guest DJ'd at many others over the years, (which we would still be happy to do so, if invited), all of which were fun. We always wanted to DJ in Whitby, which we have, but now we would like to spread our wings more, and DJ other events and towns. I, "Victor Helsing", am already the Resident DJ at Morecombe's Bat's In The Attic Festival, which is the highlight of my year, but we are open to other invitations, if anyone would like to have either myself or us as an event.

Tomorrow we celebrate our 11 year Anniversary.

After much deliberation, we have decided that this will be our last monthly club night of this year. However this does not mean that it will be our last club night of the year. We have decided to run every two months for the remainder of 2026.

We have taken this decision because as anyone who has watched our documentary on YouTube will know, it takes a lot of effort to run our nights, and after running at least one, or sometimes two club nights, every month for the past eleven years, ( except for a brief four month break after the passing of my Co Founder, DJ Helen Back ), I need a break.

I love DJ'ing and running the nights. but as some of you will be aware, I've had some changes in my personal life over the past few years, and now have other things that need my focus. Having said that, If anyone would be interested in having me as a guest DJ at any of their events, I would definitely welcome the invitation.

This is not going to be the end of "The Hell 'N Back Club", if the demand is still there, we will be back to normal next year, or we may carry on doing bimonthly Nights.

Thank You to everyone for your support over the past eleven years. Hope you can join us Tomorrow, as this will be our last club night until Sat 22nd August.
